Sure they sound great but 17K for a sub that only goes down to 25 cycles? My Emotiva does that and it cost me 100 dollars. Sounds excellent too.

The subwoofer category to me is the strangest one. There are SVS subs that obliterate the competition for under $2K and I’m talking reference quality sub-bass performance. I’ve had the opportunity to experience some of the most expensive subwoofer systems in $500K+ home theaters and they are doing something very different — and your Emotiva (and my SVS) can’t do that. You have to experience it firsthand. But $17K for a subwoofer is a lot of money.
