ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2025 begins this week in Barcelona and runs through February 7th; the show has become one of the most important for the CI industry which uses the annual event to show off the latest in TVs, architectural (in-ceiling/in-wall) speakers and other components to distributors and retailers in the E.U.
DALI, a regular exhibitor at the show, is on hand to demonstrate two additions to its Custom Install product line; the PHANTOM M-80 A in-ceiling speaker, alongside the new PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP 4-Channel Amp.

DALI PHANTOM M-80 A
The PHANTOM M-80 A is an in-ceiling speaker that combines the DALI electro-acoustic design with angled directional dispersion to provide high-end performance where in-ceiling speakers may be the choice of installation. It is suitable for both stereo and home theater installations.
The PHANTOM M-80 A incorporates a 7-inch bass/midrange driver, angled at 25°, to provide sound dispersion that can be beamed in one direction if desired. This beaming capability enables optimum dispersion for specific audio installations needed to maximize sound quality at the listening position. The M-80 A also features compass-style direction indicators further to configure dispersion to suit the installation.

DALI PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP
The DALI PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP amplifier is designed to provide high-performance and configurable audio power amplification for all DALI PHANTOM custom-install loudspeakers and subwoofers.
The AMP-4750 DSP is a full rack width, 2U format four-channel power amplifier rated at 750 Watts per channel (2 pr 4 ohm single-ended connectivity).
AMP-4750 can be used with both traditional speaker impedances as well as 70V and 100V speaker systems, making it suitable to power both indoor and outdoor speakers.
The AMP-4750 DSP provides four analog inputs and one stereo S/PDIF digital input. In addition to speaker connectivity, the amp also has both digital and analog audio outputs.
The AMP-4750 DSP is configurable via the DALI PHANTOM CI AMP CONFIGURATOR and with specific presets designed for individual DALI loudspeaker models.
Access to the AMP CONFIGURATOR interface is possible through a wired or wireless network connection to the AMP-4750 DSP, either directly from a smartphone or laptop or via a network router or switch.

The Bottom Line
The CI category exploded during the COVID pandemic and DALI has taken advantage of the newfound interest in multi-room audio systems and in-ceiling/in-wall speakers with a rather broad range of products. The Danish manufacturer designs and builds everything in-house (including the screws that fasten drivers to their enclosures) and the market has responded rather favorably to its products which are focused on high-end performance and strong value for the money.

The DALI PHANTOM M-80 A is expected to be available beginning sometime in March 2025 for $1,100 USD per speaker (EU: €799, UK: £699).
The DALI AMP-4750 DSP is expected to be available beginning sometime during March 2025 at the following price: EU: €4199, UK: £3999, (US pricing forthcoming).
