Following the release of the Bromley 450 and Bromley 750, Marshall has expanded its growing party speaker lineup with the Bromley 150, its smallest and most portable model in the series.
Party speakers have become a popular alternative to traditional portable Bluetooth speakers for listeners who want higher output, deeper bass, longer listening sessions, and a little more spectacle when friends show up. They occupy the increasingly crowded space between compact wireless speakers and full-blown PA systems, combining simple wireless connectivity with enough power and durability for larger rooms, patios, and parties.
The Bromley 150 takes the core approach of its larger siblings and shrinks it into a more manageable cabinet. Marshall has retained the family’s emphasis on sound, connectivity, and convenience, along with integrated stage lighting positioned behind the grille that reacts to the music. The cabinet is constructed from FSC 100%-certified wood, wrapped in PU leather, and protected by soft TPU corner caps designed to handle the occasional encounter with a wall, table leg, or overly enthusiastic party guest.
“Bromley 150 delivers the same exceptional performance and craftsmanship as the Bromley 450 and 750 in a more compact form. By repositioning the control panel to the side while retaining the tactile controls users love, we’ve freed up the entire front panel for what matters most: powerful sound and immersive stage lighting,” said Emma Rydahl, Senior Industrial Designer at Marshall Group.

Marshall Bromley 150 Key Features
True Stereophonic 360° Sound: Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the Bromley 150 uses front- and rear-facing drivers to deliver consistent sound coverage around the speaker. This helps maintain a balanced “sweet spot” without requiring a fixed listening position.
40+ Hours of Portable Playtime: The Bromley 150 can operate on AC power or its built-in rechargeable battery. The battery provides more than 40 hours of playback, depending on volume levels and usage. An optional spare battery can be easily swapped in to extend listening time.

Mic and Instrument Inputs: The Bromley 150 includes two inputs for microphones and instruments, making it suitable for karaoke and live performances. Additional connectivity includes Aux RCA and USB Type-C inputs for external audio sources.
Bluetooth Connectivity: The Bromley 150 supports wireless Bluetooth playback from smartphones, tablets, and computers. It is also compatible with Auracast, allowing it to connect with other supported speakers through the Marshall Bluetooth app for expanded sound coverage.
Integrated Stage Lights: The speaker includes built-in lighting with three presets. One provides ambient illumination, while the others respond dynamically to the music, adding a visual element that helps elevate the energy of a gathering.
Dirt & Splash Resistant: The Bromley 150 carries an IP55 rating, providing protection against dust and low-pressure water exposure. This makes it suitable for outdoor use in backyards, parks, or festivals, where light splashes or debris may be encountered.
Built-in Handle: The Bromley 150 includes a built-in handle for easier transport. When pressed down, the handle retracts into the cabinet, allowing multiple speakers to be stacked securely on top of one another.
Recycled Materials: The Bromley 150 is constructed from 19% recycled material by weight, helping reduce the environmental impact associated with sourcing and processing raw materials.

Competition
SOUNDBOKS offers similar industrial style from its three-model lineup consisting of the Rider, Mix, and SOUNDBOKS 4. JBL also competes aggressively at similar price points with the Boombox 4 at $549.95 and PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus at $419.95, while Sony’s ULT Tower 7 moves further toward the larger party speaker end of the category at $649.
Newer competitors are making the segment even more crowded. The Tronsmart Halo 300 costs $349, the TCL TP300K is $399, and the Hisense Party Thunder Pro comes in at $399.99. Those lower prices put additional pressure on Marshall, but the Bromley 150 is not competing on price alone. Its appeal rests on delivering much of the Bromley 450 and 750 experience in a size that is easier to carry, position, and actually live with.

The Bottom Line
Following the Bromley 750 and 450, the Marshall Bromley 150 takes most of the features that define the larger models and packages them in a smaller, more portable party speaker. True Stereophonic 360° sound, more than 40 hours of battery life, a replaceable battery, microphone and instrument inputs, integrated stage lighting, and Bluetooth with Auracast give it considerably more flexibility than a conventional portable Bluetooth speaker.
At $499.99, the Bromley 150 is aimed at listeners who want enough output and functionality for indoor or outdoor gatherings without moving up to one of the much larger party speakers that can dominate both the room and your storage space. Its combination of Marshall’s familiar design language, front and rear driver arrangement, retractable handle, stage lighting, and PA-style connectivity also gives it a distinct identity in a category increasingly filled with black plastic boxes competing to see which one can shake the neighbor’s windows first.
