2021 Emotiva BasX 2nd Generation Power Amplifiers

Emotiva have announced a complete refresh of its best-selling BasX amplifiers with new 5 models for both 2-channel and home theater systems. The new 2nd generation Emotiva BasX amplifiers range from $449 to $699, offering two-channel stereo to seven-channels for home theater systems.

Emotiva’s 2021 BasX amps feature a beefed up linear power supply claiming even more power and better control with demanding loads. They use the same audiophile quality Class A/B output section, with a newly optimized input stage said to improve fine detail and transparency. Input sensing is also new, enabling auto turn-on. Visually, the front panels have been updated with a sleek more modern look.
