Italy-based UBSOUND had added to its speaker lineup with the F85 handcrafted full-range floor-standing loudspeakers.

The F85’s’ design is the result of approximately two years of research and development. The F85 series is the spearhead of the UBSOUND philosophy which over the years has made crossover-less acoustic naturalness its flagship.

The F85 handcrafted full-range loudspeakers come in a single finish painted with automotive processes. The reflective glossy lacquered fashion black color is designed to look and feel like the classic piano black used in the audio industry.

The first batch is in production and will be ready shortly to satisfy the first requests received from international dealers.

Full Range Driver & No Crossover

UBSOUND F85 Fullrange Speaker Driver

The distinguishing feature of the F85 is that it incorporates a single driver assigned to reproduce its entire frequency range. This means it has no separate woofer, mid-range, or tweeter and no crossover. However, it does have a bass reflex port to extend low-frequency response.

The goal of the F85 is to address three 3 obstacles associated with full-range speaker designs.

1. Power Handling: The UVBSOUND achieves a high-level performance from 5W to 250W power per channel on 8-ohm impedance and 90dB of sensitivity. This makes the F85 suitable for almost any setup challenge.

2. Frequency Response: The second obstacle to overcome was the frequency response, which generally is almost always limited in speakers that incorporate a full-range driver but UBSOUND was able to engineer the F85 to gain dynamics and coherent soundstage in detail, reaching 26Hz of low frequency and 22,000Hz of high frequency. This means that it is suitable for use with a wide range of content, especially music.

3. The Finishing Touches: UBSOUND worked to come up with a visual design suitable for any room or system setup.
