Shannon and the Clams, Robben Ford, Terence Blanchard, GA-20 & Leslie Winer: Now Streaming on Qobuz

Shannon and the Clams, Leslie Winer, Robben Ford, GA-20, and Terence Blanchard bring us out of August and not a moment too soon.

Shannon and the Clams

The last week of August has been less than pleasant with the loss of 13 Marines in Afghanistan and it looks like Mother Nature has New Orleans in its sights once again. College is in full swing already and the rest of the kids go back to school this week before the start of the Jewish High Holidays which begin on Labor Day this year. Shannon and the Clams were a welcome respite this week from the misery of the universe.

Turn it up people. Let’s end the summer of our discontent with some musical joy.

Shannon and the Clams: Year of the Spider (Easy Eye Sound, Qobuz, 24-bit/48kHz)

Robben Ford: Pure (earMUSIC, Qobuz, 24-bit/44.1kHz)

Terence Blanchard: Absence (Blue Note Records, Qobuz, 24-bit/96kHz)
