Marshall Heston 60 Soundbar and Sub 200 Subwoofer: Same Retro Style for Smaller Rooms

Marshall Heston 60 ($699) 5.1-channel soundbar boasts a flippable design and optional Heston Sub 200 ($599) for low bass rumble.

Marshall Heston 60 Soundbar and Sub 200 Subwoofer Lifestyle in Black

After Marshall made a serious splash with the Heston 120 soundbar earlier this year, the brand is back with two new additions that prove you don’t need a cavernous living room to enjoy properly loud, immersive TV sound. Meet Heston 60 and Heston Sub 200: a compact but mighty soundbar and a bass-thumping subwoofer designed for smaller setups, bedrooms, or any space where “big sound” usually means “neighbors hate you.”

Heston 60 keeps the retro DNA of its larger sibling with tactile controls, a woven salt-and-pepper fret, PU leather trim, and classic Marshall styling in black or cream, while packing Dolby Atmos for full three-dimensional audio. It can sit on a TV bench or mount flat on the wall, with a magnetic logo and control panel to suit either setup.

Multi-wireless connectivity—including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with Auracast, and integrated music services—means jumping straight into playlists is painless, while dedicated sound modes for Movie, Music, Night, and Voice let you tweak the output depending on whether it’s family movie night or late-night binge listening.

Heston Sub 200 matches the design language, adds next-level bass, and keeps things wireless with Bluetooth LE Audio for flexible placement. Together, they turn modest rooms into main-stage experiences without overwhelming the space, and thanks to the Marshall app, you can calibrate presets, sound modes, and pairing for both units in one place. On top of that, both are repairable—drivers, frets, circuit boards, and more—so this isn’t just a flashy one-season wonder; it’s built to last.

Marshall Heston 60 Soundbar and Sub 200 come in cream or black. The larger Heston 120 Soundbar only comes in black.

For Heston 60, we took inspiration from the Heston 120, putting extra focus on instrument separation and clear vocals, while still producing powerful sound for its size. Our intention was to also tailor it to be great for TV and movies without compromising its sound for music. One thing that’s new with Heston 60 is the flippable design. We spent lots of time on placement with weeks of modeling going into wave guides to make sure the sound is just as good, whichever way its mounted.” said Ed Camphor, Audio Technology and Tuning Lead at Marshall Group.

Marshall Heston 60 Key Features: Dolby Atmos, Auracast, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE

The Heston 60 isn’t just a shrunken-down version of the Heston 120—it’s built for smaller rooms without cutting corners. Although it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio, it will need to perform acoustic gymnastics to convince you sound is coming from behind you without rear speakers. Nevertheless, its sound modes may spice things up. Movie Mode is said to offer more impact, Music Mode opens up dynamics, Voice Mode enhances dialogue, and Night Mode tones things down so you don’t wake the neighbors.

Marshall Heston 60 soundbar can be flipped up for wall mounting.

Unlike Heston 120, the Heston 60 soundbar functions flat on a console or flips up for mounting sideways on the wall under a TV. Either way, specially designed waveguides and angled front drivers keep the sound immersive. However, it’s unclear which way sounds better. The logo and control panel are magnetic and reversible, so the orientation always looks clean and correct.

Wi-Fi handles AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect, while Bluetooth covers the rest with the latest tech, including Auracast™. However you want to play, it should be simple to connect and get music playing.

Convenient presets in the Marshall app offer instant access to Spotify or internet radio. One press takes you straight to your most-used playlist or station. In addition, the app offers calibration and EQ tweaks.

Marshall Heston Sub 200 Key Features: Wireless Bass with Bluetooth LE Audio

The Heston Sub 200 isn’t just a sidekick—it’s the muscle behind the soundbar, bringing real depth and weight to smaller setups without turning your room into a cable nightmare. Here’s what it offers:

  • Deep, authoritative bass – This isn’t background noise; it’s the rumble that makes movies hit harder and music feel alive. Sub 200 adds precision and low-end power that pushes your soundbar into full main-stage territory.
  • Wireless connection – No wires running across the floor, no clutter. Powered by the latest Bluetooth LE Audio wireless tech, the Sub 200 pairs effortlessly with Marshall soundbars so you can focus on listening, not setup.
  • Flexible placement – Put it where it sounds best and let it shake. Whether tucked in the corner or front and center, Sub 200 delivers the kind of deep, unrestricted bass that fills the room without compromise.
  • Marshall app control – The Marshall app makes pairing, control, and tuning straightforward. Already running a Heston soundbar? Sub 200 slots right in, letting you tweak bass levels, presets, and performance from one place. Go subtle or go seismic—it’s your call.

    The Bottom Line

The Heston 60 and Heston Sub 200 hit Marshall.com on September 23rd at $699.99 and $599.99. Considering the larger Heston 120 has already sold out multiple times, it’s clear the hype has turned into actual sales. For those with smaller rooms or TVs under 55″, this combo makes sense—compact enough to fit, powerful enough to deliver Dolby Atmos and deep bass without overwhelming the space.

At this price point, Marshall is going up against the Bluesound PULSE CINEMA MINI, Sonos Beam (Gen 2) with Sub Mini, Bose Smart Soundbar 600 with Bass Module 500, and Polk MagniFi Max AX SR. The difference? Marshall leans hard on design, tactility, and repairability, while still checking the boxes for modern connectivity like Wi-Fi, Auracast, and Bluetooth LE Audio. If you don’t have the space—or budget—for a massive system, Heston 60 and Sub 200 give you the Marshall swagger in a package that actually fits.
