Jaguar and Land Rover appear to be next in the conga line with a somewhat different take for the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One SUV.
The SUBPAC/JLR Partnership
SUBPAC, an industry-leading tactile audio company that brings reference-quality low-frequency monitoring solutions to audio production, has partnered with JLR (Jaguar/Land Rover) to incorporate SUBPAC technology into the New Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE via the Body and Soul Seat (BASS) system, a high-fidelity, tactile audio experience, complete with wellness benefits.
The goal of the SUBPAC and JLR partnership is to elevate the in-vehicle audio experience with a new approach to sound reproduction and delivery to the listener.
SUBPAC Technology
The core of the SUBPAC system being used is the Body and Soul Seat (BASS) system which allows front-seat occupants to actually feel the music like never before in a car environment.
SUBPAC’s AI optimizing software combined with transducers and membranes, delivers audio vibrations directly to the driver and passengers. This means that music is directly felt in addition to being heard. The SUBPAC system works seamlessly alongside the car’s existing Meridian 29-speaker 1430-watt Signature sound system.

Health Benefits
In addition to an immersive in-car audio experience, the Range Rover Sport SV with Body and Soul Seat is also designed to enhance the mental and physiological well-being of the front seat occupants. In a study developed by Coventry University, UK, and JLR, findings show the seat can help with stress reduction and relaxation by improving heart rate variability (HRV).
SUBPAC also has plans to expand its technology beyond automotive partnerships to gaming, and aviation, as well as enter the health & wellness market.
