LG Adds NVIDIA GeForce NOW in 4K & Boosteroid Gaming To Select TVs

One of the big trends in TVs is the increasing emphasis on built-in gaming features.

The introduction of HDMI 2.1, which supports advanced features such as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), (QFT) Quick Frame Transport is being incorporated into an increasing number of TVs from various brands. This enables these TVs to be a practical and affordable option for video game play from game consoles, PCs, or direct from the internet (Cloud Gaming).

Although one Cloud Gaming service, Google Stadia, was discontinued, other services appear to have more than made up the difference.

LG TV Gaming Expansion

LG currently incorporates G-SYNC® compatibility and gaming content from NVIDIA GeForce NOW (HD), FreeSync™ Premium, Blacknut, and Utomik.

LG’s OLED TVs deliver smooth gameplay with 0.1 milliseconds (gray-to-gray) response time and low input lag. LG’s premium TVs also provide a more personalized gaming experience with the Game Shelf, Game Optimizer, Game Dashboard, and a variety of customization features and game-genre-specific picture settings.
