Spatial Audio Mixing with Audeze Maxwell & Embody Just Got Easier

Professional audio mix engineers can now use Audeze’s Maxwell headphones with Embody’s virtual production software to create spatial audio mixes with head tracking.

Today at the All About Music Conference in India, premium headphone maker Audeze and pro audio software company, Embody announced a collaboration that lets professional creators seamlessly mix spatial audio tracks. Engineers need only Audeze’s Maxwell headset ($329) and a computer with Embody’s Immerse Virtual Studio PRO software (price TBD) to form a virtual spatial audio production experience.

Immerse Virtual Studio PRO breaks down barriers of cost and accessibility to virtual production, so any engineer can perfect their mix in the legendary Atmos Studios of A.R. Rahman and Alan Meyerson.  The real-time binauralization takes advantage of Maxwell’s legendary 90MM planar magnetic drivers and head-tracking utilizing hardware already inside every Audeze Maxwell, and for the most realistic virtualization experience. 

This partnership with Embody underscores Audeze’s dedication to expanding the support of Maxwell to diverse applications, making it the ultimate spatial audio creation headphone. This announcement also builds on the recent update enabling head tracking for Maxwell users within the Dolby Atmos Renderer.

Immerse Virtual Studio PRO allows users to reference all audio formats including stereo, surround, Apple Music, or Atmos at the click of a button. Leveraging personalized HRTF technology, it delivers accurate height, depth-of-field, and crosstalk, recreating the legendary studios of A.R. Rahman and Alan Meyerson with fully accurate acoustic and signal chain virtualization. Together with integrated head-tracking for Audeze Maxwell and Apple AirPods, Immerse Virtual Studio PRO is a one-stop-shop for all immersive and Atmos mixing needs.
