The deal is live now on Black Friday and will last through Monday, November 28 (Cyber Monday).

> Sonos Arc Soundbar at Crutchfield

The Sonos ARC is a Dolby Atmos-capable soundbar which includes upward-firing and side-firing speakers to provide an immersive surround sound effect from a single discreet and attractive speaker bar that fits neatly under most flat panel TVs. It can also be wall-mounted. It has the unique distinction of being the only soundbar on the market that has built-in support for Dolby Atmos Music from Amazon Music Unlimited. If you pair it up with an AppleTV 4K streaming box, you can also enjoy Dolby Atmos Music from Apple Music and Tidal making the Sonos ARC the only option for Dolby Atmos Music from all three of the music streaming services that support it.

Of course the ARC also supports Dolby Atmos from movies and TV shows on video streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max (among others) with a compatible Smart TV or video streaming box. For best results with Dolby Atmos, we recommend adding a pair of wireless rear speakers (Sonos One SL) and a Sonos Sub subwoofer. This will give you a much more immersive soundfield. These are also currently on sale at Crutchfield. If you buy the complete 5.1.2 Sonos package, you can get it now for $1636.00, a savings of about $400 off the usual price.

SONOS Arc 5.1.2 System
The Sonos Arc soundbar can be paired with the Sonos Sub and a pair of Sonos One SL speakers for a true 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos immersive surround sound system.

The main benefit to a Sonos soundbar (beyond its sound quality, which is impressive) is that it brings with it the Sonos whole home music platform. This is currently one of the simplest and most effective ways to bring music and sound to any room in your home. You won’t need expensive, complicated control systems or in-wall wiring. With Sonos, you simply plug in each new speaker, add it to your home network in the Sonos app and you’ve got music anywhere you want it. You can play different music in each room or synch them all together for a rocking house party. Sonos ARC is also compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home for smart home integration and voice assistant control.

The Sonos ARC 5.1.2 system (pictured in white) provides immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound without standing out like a sore thumb.

At this more affordable price, the only potential drawback of the Sonos Arc is that it only includes a single HDMI input, so you’ll need to plug any of your sources (streaming stick, cable box, Blu-ray player, gaming console) into your TV and run the HDMI cable from the TV to the sound bar. For this to work, your TV must also support a different type of ARC – “Audio Return Channel” – or eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) on one of its HDMI ports. Happily, most TVs and projectors made within the past few years support ARC or eARC so this “drawback” won’t actually affect most users.
