Sony VPL-HW45ES Home Theater Projector is Value-Packed

Sony VPL-HW45ES Projector

Sony just released the entry-level VPL-HW45ES Full HD 3D home theater SXRD projector for $2,000. This 1080p (1920×1080) model is ideal for those taking their first step into the home projector market. It is equipped with a whisper quiet fan and a front-facing exhaust port for extra installation flexibility. The projector’s long-lasting lamp provides up to 6,000 hours of use, for fewer interruptions and reduced maintenance costs.

Following the success of the VPL-HW65ES, the VPL-HW45ES has nearly identical specs for half the cost. The new projector incorporates Sony’s SXRD panels and advanced Reality Creation technology. These technologies offer detailed Full HD images, with improved brightness, contrast and resolution from its predecessor, the VPL-HW40ES. Viewers will notice the difference with Sony’s Super Resolution processing that redefines subtle details, colors and textures, including those affected by compression, taking them a step closer to the 1080p original source.

The value-packed VPL-HW45ES allows users to enjoy smooth, fluid on-screen action paired with a high brightness and contrast ratio. With an impressive 1,800 lumens brightness, Full HD images are projected claim to be clear and crisp with bright highlights and deep blacks, even in a well-lit room. Thanks to the USB port on the interface panel of the VPL-HW45ES, users are able to keep the device’s firmware up to date with the latest feature and software releases.

The projector, equipped with a built-in RF 3D transmitter, automatically recognizes 2D or 3D content and offers a choice of picture modes to suit any content. With manual zoom and wide lens shift range, the VPL-HW45ES gives greater installation flexibility in any room size. Following on the superiority of the precedent model, VPL-HW45ES provides advanced picture quality, using the latest SXRD imagers which effectively eliminate the screen door effect, creating an unforgettable viewing experience.
