Sennheiser Announces All-Day Clear Over-the-Counter Hearing Aids

Sennheiser’s All Day Clear OTC Hearing Aids are FDA-approved and designed to provide superb acoustics and speech enhancement.

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a government agency that is both praised and panned over its regulations. However, one regulation that has become beneficial to consumers is allowing the purchase of hearing aid devices without going through a doctor and getting a prescription. An additional side benefit is a competitive product landscape and lower prices.

The FDA-approved Sennheiser All-Day Clear and All-Day Clear Slim OTC (Over-The-Counter) hearing aids are an example of the new options that are available to those that need hearing assistance.

Sennheiser All-day Clear Hearing Aids

The All Day Clear series is designed to provide superb acoustics and speech enhancement coupled with self-fitting features that make them comfortable and easy to use.

From Clara Beck, Sennheiser Hearing Category Director: “All-Day Clear comes at a time when US consumers are seeking technology that can instantly improve their lives…The over-the-counter legislation allows us to bridge a sizeable gap in the hearing devices market by enhancing ready-to-wear solutions with our extensive acoustics and speech enhancement expertise”.

Product Design

All-Day Clear and All-Day Clear Slim feature sleek designs focused on providing speech intelligibility and a host of practical accessories.

Sennheiser All-day Clear Hearing Aids with App

The All Clear series incorporates Sonova technology, a leading hearing care company. This enables Sennheiser OTC hearing devices to deliver clear, vibrant sound, as well as intelligent scene detection that monitors the person’s environment for seamless optimization of dialogue. Other features include:

  • The All-Day Clear and All-Day Clear Slim provide up to 16 hours of hearing on a full charge.
  • The All-Day Clear Slim is smaller than the All-Day Clear and includes a compact carrying case.
  • On both Android and Apple mobile devices, each device can be set up and customized in less than five minutes, guided by the intuitive All-Day Clear app

Tip: The free All-Day Clear App will be made available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android) when the hearing aids are released.

  • In addition to hearing assistance, the Clear and Clear Slim both include Bluetooth® for listening to music and podcast streaming from mobile devices (such as smartphones), a personalized sound profile, wind noise management, and more

Sennheiser also makes it easy to research research, purchase, and customize Sennheiser’s hearing aids by using their smartphone.

For those seeking the simplicity of an over-the-counter purchase and the peace of mind that a local hearing professional can provide, consumers have the option to purchase an In-Clinic Care Package

From Jill Goosen, Sennheiser All-Day Clear Product Manager: “We made the entire ownership path effortless — especially for those who feel they’re not ready for the prescription approach. Still, for those DIY consumers that may want the safety net of a hearing care professional at a later date, or to purchase their hearing aids from a hearing care professional, All-Day Clear provides the best of both worlds.
