Perlisten A-Series loudspeakers are designed for stereo or home theater. Choose between two towers, a stand-mount and on-wall surround.

Perlisten A-Series Loudspeakers for 2025

Perlisten has long been synonymous with uncompromising performance—and a price tag to match. With the new A-Series, the brand is finally offering a more accessible entry point without sacrificing the sonic signature that made its high-end models legendary.

The lineup—A4t and A3t tower speakers, A3m monitor speaker, and A2s surround speaker—delivers the brand’s signature dynamic, natural sound, premium build quality, and custom-engineered drivers, bringing a taste of Perlisten’s top-tier performance to a wider audience.

A4t Tower: The Flagship of the A-Series

perlisten-a4t

The A4t ($6,990/pair) sits at the top of the A-Series lineup. Its third woofer helps manage bass more efficiently, making it well-suited for larger rooms or setups that demand deeper low-end performance. Distortion is kept low, and the speaker works effectively for both music and home theater applications. It pairs naturally with the other A-Series models for a consistent, balanced sound across a full system.

The A4t is a floor-standing speaker designed to bring the A-Series’ performance closer to the brand’s high-end models. At its core is a bespoke 35mm composite Teteron dome tweeter mounted in a unique waveguide, which helps control dispersion and improves imaging across the listening area.

The low end is handled by three 215mm carbon fiber woofers arranged in a bass reflex enclosure, which balances punch and extension while keeping distortion low.

Perlisten has also engineered a custom crossover and cabinet specifically for this design, ensuring smooth integration between drivers and a controlled acoustic response. The A4t is capable of maintaining linear frequency response from 100Hz to 10kHz within ±2dB and extends down to 28Hz in typical listening environments (–6dB).

With a nominal impedance of 4Ω and a recommended amplifier range of 50–350 watts, the speaker is flexible enough to pair with a variety of high-quality amplification without overtaxing the system.

The result is a speaker that performs reliably in both music and home theater applications, delivering clean, natural sound across its range with low distortion even at higher SPL levels.

The Bottom Line

The Perlisten A-Series represents the brand’s most accessible entry into its high-end performance world, offering a carefully engineered set of speakers that bring Perlisten’s signature sound closer to a wider audience. Across the lineup—from the full-sized A4t to the compact A2s on-wall surround—these speakers are designed for both stereo and multi-channel setups, making them equally at home in music systems or immersive home theaters. While the A-Series delivers controlled dispersion, low distortion, and deep bass relative to size, larger rooms or more demanding low-frequency content may benefit from pairing with a subwoofer for a fully extended low end.

Perlisten’s A-Series also reflects a growing trend in high-performance on-wall speakers, with flexibility for side, rear, or height channels, and easy wall or ceiling mounting. Compared with competitors such as Theory Audio Design, Sonus faber, DALI, and Acoustic Energy, the A-Series occupies the higher end of “accessible,” offering the technology and engineering of premium models without the extreme price of Perlisten’s flagship lines. These are far from inexpensive, but they represent the most affordable way to experience the brand’s custom drivers, waveguides, and cabinet engineering in a full system configuration.

What’s an acoustic suspension bass reflex cabinet? Seems a bit contradictory.
