Creative Labs has expanded its popular Pebble wireless speaker series with the Nova.
With its angled design and solid audio performance, the Pebble series has a loyal following. The Pebble Nova builds on this success, featuring an elegant design and audio quality that sounds better than its $279.99 price point would indicate.
The Pebble Nova is designed to deliver great audio, but it also functions as a centerpiece for small spaces. With the implementation of coaxial speaker drivers, the Pebble Nova aligns the tweeter and woofer in a single housing to support even sound reproduction across the entire frequency range.
For a better listening experience, the Pebble Nova can be paired with the Creative Sound Blaster X5 (Regular Price: $279.99) external DAC/USB Soundcard/Headphone Amp.
The Pebble family’s 45° elevated drivers work to accurately direct sound to the user’s ears, creating a personal and immersive listening experience. With the included stand, users can elevate the speakers for better audio projection and a sleeker look.
The Nova also has RGB lighting that displays a wide range of colors that can spice up any party or social occasion.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, USB, and a 3.5mm AUX input.
With the Creative App (Android, iOS), listeners can access Creative’s proprietary Acoustic Engine audio technologies, such as Surround, Smart Volume, Bass, Dialog+, and Crystal Voice, enabling users to fully customize audio settings and RGB lighting to suit their individual preferences.

The Bottom Line
Creative has a reputation for making innovative audio products that don’t carry a high price tag. The most recent of which are the Creative Aurvana Ace & Ace 2 Wireless Earbuds we’ve reviewed.
The new Pebbles Nova Bluetooth desktop speakers appear to be another product with a low price tag that packs in some practical features designed to complement PCs and Mac setups, as well as being connected and paired with other audio components.
Although it does have Bluetooth and physical connectivity, the Nova is not as comprehensive (no Wi-Fi or aptX HD) as some other desktop speakers from companies such as KEF or Audioengine.
