Klipsch has announced the Odyssey Limited Edition Bluetooth Speaker, official merchandise created as part of its global collaboration with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Written and directed by Nolan, the film is the first feature shot entirely with IMAX film cameras and arrives exclusively in theaters on July 17, 2026. Klipsch and sister brand Onkyo serve as the film’s exclusive promotional audio partners for Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s foundational epic.
The Klipsch x Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker takes its design cues from Odysseus’s legendary sword, with battle-worn finishes, hand-distressed detailing, and brass accents intended to resemble an artifact that has survived a particularly rough trip home. It is aimed at collectors, movie fans, and audiophiles who would prefer their film memorabilia to do more than gather dust on a shelf.
Built on the Klipsch Music City Detroit platform, the Odyssey Limited Edition Bluetooth Speaker combines the company’s portable-audio engineering with a cinematic design that leans heavily into the film’s ancient-world aesthetic. It is a movie tie-in, certainly, but at least it is one that can play music after the credits roll.

Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker Features
The Drivers: The Klipsch Odyssey is ready for its own hero’s journey, with dual 1-inch tweeters and dual 3-inch woofers supported by four passive radiators. The goal is rich, full-range sound with enough power and detail to suggest a live performance, minus the parking fees and overpriced beer.
Weatherproofing: The Odyssey carries an IP67 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and can survive immersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes. A useful feature for the beach, the pool, or the sort of voyage Homer probably would not recommend.
Command the Listening Experience: Users can adjust bass, midrange, and treble through the Klipsch Connect Plus app for iOS and Android. The app also provides over-the-air firmware updates and ongoing support at no additional cost.
Broadcast Mode: Broadcast Mode allows playback across more than 10 compatible Klipsch speakers, creating a larger listening setup for parties, patios, or gatherings where one speaker simply will not cut it.
Wireless Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless connectivity from up to 40 feet away, while the built-in battery is rated for more than 20 hours of playback.
Charging: Fast 18W USB-C charging helps get the speaker back into service quickly, while reverse USB-C charging lets the Odyssey provide power to compatible devices along the way.

About The Odyssey Film
The Odyssey opens in U.S. and U.K. theaters on Friday, July 17, 2026, in both IMAX and standard formats. International release dates will be announced separately.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the film stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron.
Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan produced the film through their Syncopy banner, with Thomas Hayslip serving as executive producer.
The Odyssey continues Nolan’s partnership with Universal Pictures following Oppenheimer, which became a major global box-office success and won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
Fans of Christopher Nolan and The Odyssey can follow Klipsch and Onkyo on social media for campaign updates and future promotional announcements.
The Bottom Line
At $499, the Klipsch Odyssey Limited Edition Bluetooth Speaker is not a disposable piece of movie merch. Built on the Klipsch Music City Detroit platform and limited to 2,500 pieces, it combines a genuinely capable portable speaker with a battle-worn, sword-inspired design tied to Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
Its appeal is not complicated. This is for Christopher Nolan fans, Klipsch collectors, and buyers who want their film memorabilia to earn its keep after opening weekend. The Odyssey offers the portability, weather protection, battery life, and app-based control expected of a premium Bluetooth speaker, but with styling that makes it more distinctive than another black cylinder on the patio table. Once the theatrical campaign ends, it should remain both a functional speaker and a far more interesting keepsake than the usual popcorn bucket or souvenir shark cup.
Price & Availability
The Klipsch x The Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker will be available for $499 at Amazon, but only 2,500 pieces will be made worldwide.

In honor of this latest version, best called The “Oddyasee”, is this really a Dax Polydax speaker trying to be what it historically (more hysterically_ ain’t? Yup.
Time to lay back down. A pox on Nolan and Hollyweird.

Ortacles of Thebes,
You may be onto something. “Oddyasee” is now lodged in my brain like a bad remaster, and I suspect Dax Polydax is somewhere demanding royalties and a proper crossover network.
As for Nolan and Hollyweird, I will reserve judgment until someone sends me a 70mm print, a decent amplifier, and a speaker that does not require an archaeological dig to explain its lineage. Get some rest. The conspiracy will still be there after your nap.
Welcome home Master.
