CINÈST, the new home entertainment sub-brand from furniture maker POVISON, has introduced its Core Collection of media consoles designed specifically for ultra-short-throw (UST) projector and home theater installations. The new line targets some of the most common UST setup problems, including projector alignment, image stability, cable management, and finding furniture that can accommodate modern AV components without making the room look like an equipment rack.
Built from FSC-certified hardwood and other premium materials, the CINÈST Core Collection takes a more design-conscious approach to home theater furniture. Rather than treating the projector and supporting components as items that simply need somewhere to sit, CINÈST is positioning the consoles as part of the room itself, with storage and placement options intended to keep equipment organized while fitting more naturally into contemporary interiors.
The Core Collection currently includes two models, the Core E1 and Core A1, each offered in 90.5-inch, 102.5-inch, and 118-inch lengths. All versions measure 21 inches deep and 18 inches high, giving buyers several size options depending on room dimensions, projector placement, and the rest of their home theater system.

Features & UST Projector Integration
Universal UST Projector Compatibility: The Core Collection media consoles are designed to accommodate nearly any ultra-short-throw projector, giving users greater flexibility when selecting or upgrading their display.
Adjustable UST Projector Placement: The Core Collection media consoles feature a four-way adjustable projector platform designed for precise UST alignment. Once the desired projector position is saved, the system can automatically return to that setting each time it is powered on.
Integrated Cable Management: The Core Collection media consoles include an integrated cable management system designed to keep power, HDMI, and other AV connections organized and out of sight, even when multiple components are installed.
Active Cooling System: The Core Collection media consoles include an active cooling system designed to manage heat generated by installed AV components, helping maintain stable operating temperatures during extended use.

Core E1 vs Core A1
According to CINEST, the Core E1 and A1 provide different exterior designs with the same dimensions and have the same capabilities. Both models will work with motorized screens as well as fixed-frame screens with the same UST setup.
CINÈST on UST Integration: The company says the Core Collection was developed to address both the technical and aesthetic challenges that can come with integrating ultra-short-throw projection into a living space.
“UST projection has made it possible to create a cinematic viewing experience in spaces where a traditional projector setup isn’t practical, but the technology can still introduce a lot of complexity into the home,” said Ayden Lin, Founder and CEO at CINÈST. “We wanted to rethink what the furniture surrounding that technology could do. The Core Collection consoles are designed to solve the functional challenges of UST while making the entire system feel intentional within the space.”
The Bottom Line
Ultra-short-throw projectors make large-screen home theater possible in rooms where a traditional projector installation may not be practical, but they can also create a new problem: where to put the projector, source components, amplification, speakers, and all of the associated cabling.
The CINÈST Core Collection tackles that issue by integrating UST projector placement, AV component storage, cable management, cooling, and, with select configurations, the Core Collection provides support for integrating a motorized floor-rising screen into a single piece of furniture. That makes it particularly appealing for living rooms and multipurpose spaces where buyers want a large image without turning the room into a visible equipment installation.
CINÈST is not alone in pursuing this idea. Vanish Designs showed a similarly integrated UST home theater solution at CEDIA Expo 2026 that caught our attention. The key difference is positioning: CINÈST currently offers standardized 90.5-inch, 102.5-inch, and 118-inch models starting at $3,999, while Vanish Designs builds its systems to order, with pricing starting at approximately $18,000.
For consumers building a premium UST-based home theater who care as much about keeping the room clean and organized as they do about screen size, the Core Collection offers a practical alternative to assembling separate furniture, projector platforms, component storage, and screen solutions.
