For $279, Bose QuietComfort Earbuds combine adjustable noise cancellation and volume-optimized Active EQ to achieve unrivaled sound quality in a true wireless earphone.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Soapstone (2020)

First True Wireless Model

Bose just introduced QuietComfort® Earbuds for $279, which bring the industry leading noise cancelling technology Bose® is known for into an in-ear truly wireless earphone. Each true wireless earbud uses multiple microphones and an exclusive new algorithm to block out distracting noises. Plus, new StayHear™ Max tips create a soft-yet-tight seal in the ear. Serious competition for Apple’s AirPods Pro.

Adjustable Noise Control

The QuietComfort (QC) Earbuds come with 11 levels of noise control to choose how much of the outside world you let in or kept out. Settings range from “transparency” that keeps you aware of your surroundings, to full noise cancellation that lets you tune out completely.

Sound Quality

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds claim to achieve high standards of audio performance at every volume level. A combination of technologies makes this possible. A patented acoustic port design combined with premium, high-efficiency drivers ensures immersive sound and deep lows from a small acoustic package. Volume-optimized Active EQ enhances clarity throughout the entire spectrum of sound for lifelike audio reproduction. A low noise floor reduces the electronic hiss commonly heard in other noise-reduction earbuds. And for talking on the phone, QC Earbuds separate your voice from those around you and dampen the rush of wind, so what you’re saying is more intelligible on the other end.

Battery Life

The new QuietComfort Earbuds offer 6 hours of battery life when fully charged. The included charging case provide two additional full charges, bringing total use up to 18 hours on-the-go. A quick, 15-minute charge provides to 2 hours of battery life. The case recharges via included USB-C cable or any Qi-certified wireless charging mat (not included).

Auto-pause & Controls

Microsensors tell QC Earbuds when they’re in your ears and when they’re not. The instant you take one out, the music, podcast, or video automatically pauses. And the instant you take them out of the case, the earbuds begin pairing with your device. Simple on-bud touch controls are accessible for the most common commands like play and pause, answer and end calls, or to summon a personal voice assistant.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds App

Compatibility & Connectivity

The new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are compatible with iOS devices, Android devices, and native VPAs. They use Bluetooth® 5.1, precisely placed antennae, and a new data transfer method for fewer dropouts. Their IPX4 rating means they are resistant to sweat and water. Three sizes of new soft-silicone StayHear™ Max tips are includes. Additional functionality and software updates are available with the free Bose Music app.

“We spent a lot of time making sure our new QuietComfort Earbuds were the most effective noise cancelling in-ear headphones ever. But they also sound incredible and are a pleasure to wear and use. That’s an unbeatable combination that puts them ahead of the industry and makes them every bit a QuietComfort.”
