Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 Noise-Cancelling Headphones Win Innovations 2008 Design & Engineering Award

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OH, November 15, 2007 — Audio-Technica today announced that its ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint noise-cancelling headphones have received a CES Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering award from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The ATH-ANC7 headphones effectively block environmental noise, while delivering clear and natural sound.

Ideal for use with portable music and DVD players, laptop computers and in-flight entertainment systems, the ATH-ANC7 headphones utilize exclusive QuietPoint active noise-cancellation technology that eliminates 85% of outside noise.

The ATH-ANC7 delivers the high-resolution audio quality that has made Audio-Technica headphones a favorite with consumers, recording engineers and artists. It features large-aperture 40 mm drivers with powerful neodymium magnet systems for deeper bass, accurate midrange and extended treble. The headphones’ high sensitivity and wide 10 — 25,000 Hz frequency response provide exceptional fidelity from any music source. The ATH-ANC7 also works when the noise-cancelling function is turned off, and operates in passive mode without batteries.

The headphones fold flat for storage and come with a detachable cable (with a standard 3.5 mm mini-plug; the cable can be removed for noise-cancelling functionality without audio), a full-size 1/4-inch adapter, an airline adapter for connection to in-flight entertainment systems, and a hard, durable carrying case.

The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 active noise-cancelling headphones are available at
Apple Store locations and at other authorized dealers at a U.S. MSRP of $219.95.
