Playback Distribution Brings Vienna Acoustics and PMC Speakers to North America

Vienna Acoustics and PMC Speakers will soon be available in the U.S. and Canada.

PMC and Vienna Acoustics Loudspeakers

Vienna Acoustics and PMC are two loudspeaker brands revered by audiophiles but their distribution across North America has been somewhat murky over the past few years.

Industry veteran, Rob Standley, has announced the formation of Playback Distribution LLC., which will be the new distributor for both brands beginning this month.

PMC had a rather successful 2023 High-End Munich Show with the launch of its new Prodigy loudspeaker series (pictured above) and Vienna Acoustics is best known for its Beethoven Concert Grand, Baby Grand, and Haydn SE loudspeakers.

Rob Standley’s track record includes key roles in some of the industry’s most recognizable companies, where he has gained experience in premium consumer electronics retailing, custom integration, marketing, product development and manufacturing.

Playback Distribution will focus on the Hi-Fi and Custom Integration segments.

“We founded Playback Distribution because we believe that a well-executed music playback system has the power to inspire and transform the listener.  We’re excited to introduce Playback to that end,” said Rob Standley, Founder and President.  “With our fresh approach to distribution, we’re looking forward to helping brands reach new audiences while creating unforgettable experiences for entertainment enthusiasts.”

“In everything we do, we strive for excellence, innovation, and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of entertainment. Our mission is to help our customers create unforgettable moments for their clients,” explained Standley.
