Audio Pro’s C5 MKII Wireless Speaker Goes Bright Yellow and Dares Your Decor to Keep Up

Audio Pro’s C5 MKII W Classic arrives in Bright Yellow, proving design now matters as much as sound in wireless speakers.

Audio Pro C5 MkII W Classic Special Edition Lifestyle

Forty five years in, Audio Pro is not trying to reinvent the wireless speaker in 2026. It is repainting it. And that might be the more honest move. In a category where real innovation has slowed, color has quietly become the new battleground. The latest example is a Limited Edition Bright Yellow version of the C5 MKII W and C5 MKII W Classic that trades new technical improvements for something far more visible. Call it what it is. Yellow is the new black in wireless speakers, and brands know it.

The updated C5 MKII W Classic keeps a formula that already works. Same compact footprint, same leather carry handle, same clean front, now wrapped in a finish that refuses to blend in. The brass toned control panel and matching accents push it into statement piece territory. Less hide it on a shelf, more let it sit there looking expensive and slightly smug while the room goes quiet and everyone suddenly needs to know where you got it.

Our limited editions have become very popular amongst our interior design oriented consumers,” said Nils Ankarcrona, CEO at Audio Pro, “as these eye catching colours, not very common in this industry, encourage people to highlight their speaker as part of their home décor rather than hiding it away.”

Audio Pro has gone down this road before with previous limited runs, including the distinctive Peter Eugén T3+ Wireless Speaker.

The Bottom Line

There is nothing fundamentally new under the hood. The Bright Yellow finish is the update. The core C5 MKII W platform remains the same, and that is not a problem given how solid it already is.

At $300, it offers a compact wireless speaker with respectable output, stable multiroom support through Linkplay, and an app that is straightforward to use. It stands as a viable alternative to Sonos for listeners who want similar functionality without committing to a more closed ecosystem.

Who is this for? Someone who values both sound quality and how their system looks in the room. It is not trying to disappear. It is designed to be seen, while still delivering the performance expected in this category.

Price & Availability

The Audio Pro C5 MkII W Classic Special Edition with Bright Yellow Finish is priced at $300 USD (€300 / £260) and is available through Audio Pro and Authorized Dealers. Or look for the older C5 MkII model that is often on sale for $199 at Amazon.
