In-Wall Keypad Controller Series Offers Simple A/V System Control

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — July 26, 2007 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) announced today that its RK1 In-Wall System Controller Series has been named “2007 Product of the Year” by Electronic House magazine. The three new customizable keypads have been designed for flush-mount installations and provide a self-contained control system for operating audio/video components, lights, or other electronic systems in a home.

Sized for a single-gang outlet, the RK1-2, RK1-4 and RK1-8 incorporate two, four, and eight fully-programmable buttons respectively, which can be custom labeled with text and symbols. In addition to labeling customization, the backlight for each button can be configured to display a variety of different colors.

Easy to install, the RK1 keypads provide an expanded control option that adds convenience to any system. They are also designed to match any decor due to their clean and neutral style and compatibility with Decora style wall plates. The RK1-2, RK1-4 and RK1-8 keypads are now available, at an MSRP of $249 each.
