Panasonic today debuted its new in-the-ear clip earphones with remote controller and microphone (model RP-HSC200), compatible with the latest iPod family of products. Now, active iPod/iPhone users can enjoy music and conduct conversations through comfortable, water resistant clip earphones. A convenient remote control on the cord of the right earpiece allows listeners to adjust the volume and control music or video playback, including play/pause/forward and skip tracks. The remote control employs a built-in microphone to answer, conduct and end calls on an iPhone. It also enables access to the iPod/iPhone feature to hear the song title and artist.

Designed to keep up with active work-outs and withstand rugged outdoor conditions, the RP-HSC200 clip earphones are sweat and water resistant, making them ideal for fitness enthusiasts. The soft, comfort fit elastomer hanger, which fits over the ear, helps keep the earphones in place and reduces cord touch noise. To provide even further custom fit, they come with three sets of earpieces in sizes small, medium and large.

The new RP-HSC200 sports earphones deliver exceptional sound, even on the go. For enhanced sound quality, they are equipped with large side mount 12.4mm speakers and boast a frequency response of 10Hz-22kHz.

“Whether you are working-out or out for a run, these earphones allow you to stay in-touch with your music, friends and family,” said Tom Hantson, Panasonic product manager.

Price and Availability
The RP-HSC200 sports earphones are black with silver accent. Available in March 2011, they will carry a suggested retail price of $59.99.
