LG Objet OLED TVs Get the Royal Treatment At Milan Design Week

LG makes an artistic statement by showing its Objet OLED TV collection at Milan’s Annual Celebration of Creativity.

LG Objet Easel OLED TV Lifestyle

At the 2022 CES, along with LG LED/LCD and OLED TV offerings, LG unveiled a new Lifestyle TV concept, the Objet. Although not available for sale yet (more on that at the end of this article), LG has been showing its concept at select events.

Tip: LG’s Object TVs expand on the art-display capabilities of their G2 Gallery Edition OLED TV line and also are similar in concept to Samsung’s Frame TVs which have been available since 2017.

As part of their strategy, LG will be exhibiting the LG OLED Objet Collection, Easel (65Art90), and Posé (LX1), at Salone dei Tessuti during this year’s Milan Design Week (aka Milan’s Annual Celebration of Creativity) from June 7th  through 12th 2022.

For the event, LG has teamed up with premium Dutch lifestyle brand, Moooi, to showcase a stylish, modern living solution. The resulting collaboration, which embraces Moooi’s signature ‘A Life Extraordinary’ exhibition theme, features the perfect pairing of LG’s latest lifestyle TVs and Moooi’s extraordinary design products.

Visitors to the LG/Moooi exhibit can also expect to experience the great sound and unique designs of the LG Eclair soundbar (model QP5) and LG XBOOM 360 speaker (model RP4)

The Objet Easel

The Easel (65Art90) offers the superior picture quality one would expect from an LG OLED TV with the inclusion of Evo technology, as well as an elegant design that can complement any home interior. As its name suggests, the TV resembles an easel used for painting or displaying art. This is great for showcasing the accurate colors and contrast of LG’s self-lit display tech.

Easel also has a moveable fabric cover that can be controlled with the TV’s remote. When set to Line View, the cover slides up – reducing the amount of screen visible and giving users access to useful features and modes such as Date & Clock and audio player.

The Easel also incorporates an 80W, 4.2-channel sound system that helps make the living room feel more like a movie theater for traditional TV viewing.

The Objet Posé

Since the announcement of the Easel, LG is also adding a second model to the LG OLED Objet Collection, the Posé (LX1).

LG Objet Pose OLED TV

Resembling a high-end furniture piece or art object, Posé has gently curved edges and comes in a soothing, muted beige color that complements any décor. The Posé also eliminates having to see or deal with messy cables thanks to an effective cable management system that minimizes clutter while promoting a clean, organized space.

In addition to looking stylish, the TV provides picture quality that is consistent when viewed from a wide angle. When not being used for watching movies or shows, Posé can be switched to Gallery mode; enabling users to display artwork or photos.

Like LG’s other premium 2022 OLED TVs as well as the Objet Easel, the new, artistically-inspired Posé model incorporates LG OLED Evo technology to deliver lifelike images and an immersive, cinematic viewing experience. Combined with LG’s cutting-edge picture algorithms and the α9 Gen5 AI Processor, LG OLED Evo elevates the ability of the TV’s self-lit pixels to deliver superior clarity, detail, contrast, and color.

Availability and Pricing

LG’s Objet Lifestyle TVs are expected to be available for purchase in Europe and other select markets later in 2022. The Easel (65Art90) will be offered in the 65-inch size, and the Posé (LX1) will be offered in the 42, 48, and 55-inch screen sizes. Prices are forthcoming.
