DivX Video Encoding Now Available to PLAYSTATION3 Game Developers
DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ:DIVX), a digital media company, today announced the availability of DivX video encoding to PLAYSTATION3 (PS3™) game developers, enabling them to create high quality DivX video for PS3 games.
The availability of DivX video encoding technology will enable developers to take full advantage of DivX compression technology while maintaining the integrity of high quality video. PS3 is the first gaming system capable of playing back DivX video.
