Building on over 40 years of loudspeaker research and development, the Danish loudspeaker brand DALI is expanding its EPIKORE loudspeaker series with three new speakers. The new models include the EPIKORE 3 stand-mount speaker, EPIKORE 7 and EPIKORE 9 floorstanding speakers, which accompany the previously released EPIKORE 11.
About EPIKORE
The EPIKORE line sits one step below the KORE flagship loudspeaker. However, since there is no stand-mount KORE speaker, the new EPIKORE 3 earn its spot as DALI’s best stand-mount/bookshelf speaker.
All the EPIKORE speakers share some common features that include the EVO-K™ Hybrid Tweeter module, which incorporates a 35 mm soft-dome tweeter and a 55 x 10 mm HF planar element; SMC™ Gen-2 technology for minimal distortion; custom-made in-house drivers, and Clarity Cone™ paper and wood fiber cone structure bass/mid-range drivers.
Other common features include custom-made in-house drivers, titanium voice coil formers, adjustable aluminum outriggers, continuous-flare bass reflex ports, die-cast baffles, and low-resonance cabinets
To ensure that the speakers look as good as they sound DALI has implemented luxury cabinets with exclusive high-gloss finishes and custom-made high-end binding posts.
EPIKORE 3
This speaker features a bookshelf/standmount design that incorporates DALI KORE technology. It is a 3-way speaker that combines a low-loss, 7-inch DALI bass/midrange driver with the unique DALI EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter module. The EPIKORE 3 features a real-wood veneer stand-mount cabinet.
The optional EPIKORE STAND that is available for EPIKORE 3 is sand-fillable and includes internal cable routing for functional stability and an uncluttered appearance.
EPIKORE 7
This is a compact floor standing model. It features a 3½-way driver configuration that combines two low-loss 7-inch DALI bass/midrange drivers with the unique DALI EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter module. It is designed to deliver a great listening experience for medium and large-sized rooms.
EPIKORE 9
The is a 4-way floor standing designed to deliver a high-performance audio experience for large rooms. It incorporates two, low-loss SMC Gen-2 8-inch woofers, a low-loss SMC Gen-2 6½-inch Clarity Cone Technology midrange driver, and the unique DALI EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter module.
The advanced curved cabinet combines Continuous Flare port reflex loading with the rigidity and beauty of real wood.
EPIKORE 11
Previously released, the EPIKORE 11 is the top floorstanding model in the series. It incorporates a 4½-way speaker configuration with four, low-loss 8-inch SMC Gen-2 woofers, a low-loss SMC Gen-2 6½-inch Clarity Cone Technology midrange driver, and the signature DALI EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter module. The EPIKORE 11 is designed to be the best option for large-sized rooms.

The DALI EPIKORE series is visually stunning in high gloss finishes and its Hybrid Tweeter module could give it an edge over competing ranges from Focal, Bowers & Wilkins and Monitor Audio among others.
