Chord Company’s PowerHAUS P6 Powerblock Unveiled

Reduce noise and improve the performance your hi-fi system with Chord Company’s most affordable mains distribution block.

Chord Company PowerHaus P6 Mains Distribution Block

Audiophiles have used power line conditioners for decades as a method of protecting equipment from power surges and cleaning up the quality of power that their equipment receives. One can spend anywhere from $50 to $5,000 on a single unit and the merits are certainly system specific.

With that in mind, Chord Company offers several power distribution products that are designed for different applications.

The new PowerHAUS P6, drawing on Chord Company’s near 40-year expertise in wiring design, engineering, and manufacturing techniques, is designed to reduce noise and improve the performance of hi-fi, home cinema, and CI (Custom Install) systems.

The PowerHAUS P6 builds on its direct predecessors, the M6 and S6 which were launched in 2022. The P6 maintains Chord Company’s philosophy of design expertise, versatility, high-level build, and proprietary ARAY noise-reduction technology.

Internally, the PowerHAUS P6 uses heavy-gauge cables and high-quality sockets which are combined with a 16 amp input socket that meets IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards, which is suitable for demanding systems.

Chord Company’s PowerHAUS technology doesn’t use serial filters, switches, and neon power indicators which can generate noise and compromise performance. Solid construction also provides the optimum environment for the sophisticated internal circuitry.

In addition, Chord Company has minimized the interaction between internal live, neutral, and earth cables and tried to maintain, wherever possible, a clean earth supply, based on experience gained developing the company’s proprietary noise-reducing ARAY technology.

The PowerHaus P6 comes with a standard, straight connector 16 amp IEC power cable, but can be upgraded with factory options, such as the Clearway Power cable with right-angle connectors.
