Advance Paris Introduces the LINK Cable Series and They’re Still Affordable With the Tariffs

High-end cables made in France? Do British and American manufacturers need to be concerned? The Advance Paris LINK have us excited to try them.

Advance Paris Link Cables

Advance Paris, one of the more affordable French audio manufacturers is launching LINK, a new range of hi-fi cables designed for high-quality sound in various setups. The lineup includes speaker, RCA, XLR, subwoofer, Toslink optical digital, and coaxial cables, set to arrive in the U.S. by mid-April 2025.

With so many cable brands, it might puzzle some why Advance Paris would introduce a new range of high-end cables into a market dominated by QED, Chord Company, AudioQuest, Kimber, and Monoprice; especially with consumers wary of the high prices charged for audiophile cables.

It’s a legitimate question.

New French Wave?

Advance Paris was first established in 1995 as Advance Acoustic. The company originally launched as a speaker manufacturer and later expanded its expertise into electronics with its first integrated amplifier in 2003. It featured what has become the brand’s signature aesthetic and engineering approach, including the incorporation of prominent VU meters and classic tube preamplifiers.

Our take is that Advance Paris is making a hard play finally into the U.S. market with their entry-level and mid-tier components and it would only make sense to offer consumers the cables they used in the development of their electronics. The prices are actually rather competitive even with tariffs that have been announced against all imports from the European Union.

And they don’t offer a ridiculous 1M Ethernet cable for $1,000 which makes us like them even more. We also don’t see any $3,000 power cables in their lineup either which suggests that they don’t think the market for their electronics would ever fall for such tomfoolery. The French might be quirky but stupid they are not.

The LINK cable range is designed to offer high-end sound quality at a competitive price, appealing to audiophiles and those looking for easy-to-install high-end cables. Featuring Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper for ultra-pure signal transmission, these cables ensure clear, accurate sound reproduction. High-quality metal plugs provide durable and reliable connections.

The LINK cables are designed for seamless integration into various audio systems, connecting preamplifiers, amplifiers, source components, and loudspeakers. Staying true to Advance Paris’ philosophy, they balance aesthetics, performance, and value, making them a compelling choice for audiophiles.

The Bottom Line

Yes — the cable market is oversaturated with a lot of overpriced products that make us question the sanity of some audiophiles who genuinely believe that it makes sense to spend more on a power cord than an actual pair of loudspeakers or power amplifier.

Take it from someone currently getting professional help — you might require it more than I do. Can recommend a good therapist.

What intrigues us about the Advance Paris LINK cables is the price, apparent build quality, and their refusal to do the typical high-end audio thing and offer Ethernet cables and power cords that cost more than a 1984 Renault Alliance.

Should the prices change due to the announced tariffs, we will adjust the prices when we have clarification.

The brand has a solid reputation around the globe and we look forward to reviewing some of it and expect something soon on The Cabin Audiophiler
