Bang & Olufsen BeoCenter 6-23 LCD TV/Radio Announced

268386.jpg

Small, but only on the outside; the new BeoCenter 6-23 LCD TV with FM or DAB radio
With DAB integration and the latest in LCD technology, BeoCenter 6-23 is, despite its modest size, a perfect solution as a second room TV or a compact TV for those who prioritise simple living. It is the first flat-screen with a DAB radio option, and from the on-screen rolling display, you get relevant information from the broadcaster. With its PC input connection, you have everything you need in the office – PC, radio and TV – all elegantly put together in a wide selection of colours and placement options

Picture quality that adapts to the viewing situation
Bang & Olufsen has carefully selected the very best LCD screen currently available and added to this a number of picture-optimising features, which are part of the VisionClear concept that is implemented in all TV solutions from Bang & Olufsen. It is based on new and progressive display technology a high-glare screen, which allows us to improve contrast considerably. Furthermore, by adding the clear front glass screen, BeoCenter 6-23 achieves a much brighter picture, which is particularly advantageous for use in daytime. The new screen offers a wider viewing angle than most and this is a great advantage if BeoCenter 6-23 is placed in the kitchen or in a hallway – a typical setup for second room TVs.

Sound to match the picture
The compact one-way loudspeaker provides in full the performance you expect from a Bang & Olufsen television. The slight tilt of the loudspeaker system underneath the screen helps to move up the sound upwards, relating it closely to what is happening on the screen.

Modest in size, yet versatile in use
BeoCenter 6-23 is substantially equipped for a rather small TV. The key to it is simplicity and ease of use when operating it with the Beo4 remote control that comes with Bang & Olufsen television and audio systems. It allows you to connect additional loudspeakers, and you can link it to your main room TV through the proprietary BeoLink system. Thereby you can watch e.g. satellite TV in your bedroom on your BeoCenter 6-23, even though the satellite receiver is in your living room. All you need is a Master Link cable.

BeoCenter 6-23 also offers a wake-up timer and timer play functionality and the DVI-I input allows you to use it as a PC screen as well. It is an extremely versatile solution for those who enjoy the simple things in life.

Whatever you can wish for, BeoCenter 6-23 can accommodate
The handcrafted cabinet of BeoCenter 6-23 expresses the dedication that went into its creation. The elegant aluminium front and frame are available in a number of colours which allow you to match almost any interior decoration you may have. The colours range from a discrete aluminium, black and dark grey version to a dashing yet elegant yellow, blue or red colour.

Add to this the flexibility you experience when deciding on where to place the compact BeoCenter 6-23. You can choose from a number of stands and bracket solutions. In a narrow corner, on a sloping wall using the wall bracket, find room for BeoCenter 6-23 anywhere. Just turn or tilt it for optimum viewing. Choose among the different stands for placement on a shelving system, or the motorised stand for table or floor placement. The latter allows you to turn the TV by remote control towards your favourite seating position and automatically return the TV to its resting position – when you switch it off again. The choice is yours – the flexibility of BeoCenter 6-23 is vast.
