Denon DHT-1311XP Home Theater in a Box

Denon announced the DHT-1311XP, a 3D-ready 650-watt 5.1 home theater system. The home cinema in a box solution combines the AVR-1311 A/V receiver (110W x 5-channel) with the SYS-391HT 5.1 speaker system. The package offers a versatile and powerful state-of-the-art, 3D compatible set-up at an incredibly competitive price point of £449.99. Denon's new DHT-1311XP will be available in September.

The AVR-1311 is a HDMI 1.4a AV receiver (4 inputs, 1 output) that can be connected to TVs and other devices such as Blu-ray disc players, game consoles, and set-top boxes. To let users experience the best in 3D video, the AVR-1311 offers full support of 3D pass-through technology, Deep Color and “x.v.Color”. Providing the remarkable surround sound experience that is essential with 3D video, the new AVR also supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS- HD Master Audio and other HD Audio formats. It is further equipped with Denon's Compressed Audio Restorer to let users enjoy a more detailed, dynamic sound from compressed music sources, and a stereo mini jack on the front where you can conveniently connect any portable audio player.

Denon AVR-1311 A/V Receiver - Back

To faithfully reproduce the original surround sound, each of the AVR-1311's 5 channels is equipped with an identical power amp and implements technology from Denon's more expensive AVRs. Since these power amps also use discrete circuits configured with parts strictly selected for their contribution to high sound quality, rather than with low-cost integrated circuits (ICs), the surround sound playback is of impeccably high quality.

Further enhancing ease-of-use, the AVR-1311 features quick select options on the front panel and remote control giving users a convenient one-button source and surround mode selection. Thanks to a dedicated Denon iPod dock control port, users may connect and control their iPod/iPhone using one of Denon's iPod/iPhone docks, which provides on- screen artist, album and song information.

Denon DHT-1311XP Home Theater System

Completing the best-in-class surround experience, the system's 5.1 speaker set offers 2-way front and centre speakers, two full-range surround speakers and a newly designed 100W powerful subwoofer with 8″ woofer. The whole system adds to a total of 650W output power delivering a powerful but still detailed music and surround sound playback.

In keeping with Denon's commitment to eco-friendly engineering throughout its product line, the stand-by power of all new receivers is below 0.5W, helping eliminate unnecessary power usage.
