SVS Unleashes R|Evolution: New 3000 Series Subwoofers and Dolby Atmos Soundbar Debut at CES 2026

SVS debuts 3000 R|Evolution subwoofers, a new Atmos soundbar, and a 5.2.4 demo at CES 2026.

SVS Revolution Soundbar and Subwoofer

At CES 2026SVS isn’t easing into the conversation—it’s making sure the industry hears every last decibel. The company is using the world’s largest technology trade show to officially unveil and demonstrate its new 3000 R|Evolution Series subwoofers and the R|Evolution Soundbar system, marking the first time both products are experienced by media, industry partners, and retailers.

And SVS isn’t settling for static displays or spec sheets. A dedicated 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos theater system—built around flagship Ultra Evolution loudspeakers and the new R|Evolution subwoofers—will anchor an immersive demonstration designed to show exactly where SVS believes high-performance home theater is headed.

This is classic SVS: high-performance loudspeakers and reference-grade subwoofers that regularly win awards, routinely embarrass pricier rivals, and remain within reach of real-world buyers who actually care about sound. From its first-ever soundbar system shown publicly to a purpose-built Atmos demo designed to remind attendees what low-frequency authority is supposed to feel like, SVS continues to lead the category it helped define. It’s an American audio brand that refuses to be subtle, refuses to overprice for prestige, and refuses to believe that serious home theater performance should be reserved for six-figure systems and velvet ropes.

CES is the perfect environment to experience what SVS is all about—bold innovation, real-world performance, and the kind of emotional impact that makes you forget you’re listening to a system and just get lost in the content,” said Nick Brown, Vice President of SVS. “Whether it’s the visceral immersion of our 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos cabin featuring the new 3000 R|Evolution subwoofers or the shockingly powerful, cinematic experience of the new R|Evolution Soundbar, we’re excited to show the industry what’s possible when you refuse to compromise on sound.”

SVS 3000 R|Evolution Series Subwoofers: Reference-Level Bass Technology Comes Down to Earth

svs-3000-revolution-subwoofers-trio

The new 3000 R|Evolution Series marks the next step in SVS’s long-running effort to bring genuine reference-grade subwoofer performance to a price and size class that more listeners can realistically live with. Drawing directly from engineering concepts developed for the flagship 17-Ultra R|Evolution Series, the 3000 R|Evolution models combine updated driver design, high-current amplification, and advanced DSP control into a more accessible platform aimed squarely at music, home theater, and gaming applications.

SVS isn’t positioning these as lifestyle accessories or “good enough” bass solutions. The focus here is low-frequency extension, output capability, and control—delivering deep bass that remains articulate, tuneful, and stable even at high playback levels. According to SVS, the goal is to deliver the kind of low-end authority typically associated with much larger and more expensive subwoofers, without abandoning musical precision or real-world usability.

At launch, the 3000 R|Evolution Series consists of two models, each designed around the same core technology but optimized for different rooms and listening priorities:

  • SB-3000 R|Evolution (sealed) – A compact sealed-cabinet subwoofer designed for accuracy and musical control, with claimed low-frequency extension down to 17 Hz (±3 dB). This model is clearly aimed at listeners who prioritize tight bass response and smaller room integration.
  • PB-3000 R|Evolution (ported) – A larger ported design intended to deliver higher output and room-pressurizing impact for home theater use, extending to 16 Hz (±3 dB) and offering multiple port-tuning modes for flexibility across different spaces.

Both models share the same core technology platform, including:

  • high-excursion 13-inch SVS driver engineered for deep output with controlled distortion
  • flat-edge wound split-wind voice coil designed to maintain magnetic force and responsiveness at high excursion
  • 1,200-watt continuous / 4,000+ watt peak Class-D amplifier with a discrete MOSFET output stage
  • 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP, handling power delivery, thermal management, and driver control in real time
  • switch-mode power supply designed to maintain consistent performance under varying AC conditions
  • Support for the SVS Subwoofer Control App, enabling setup, tuning, and system integration
  • Auto Room EQ, applying room-specific correction filters, scheduled to arrive via firmware update in Q1 2026

What SVS has not announced yet is pricing, and final availability details remain limited. The company has confirmed that pricing will be announced shortly, with shipping targeted for early Q1 2026.

SVS R|Evolution Soundbar: Serious Home Theater Ambitions, Minimalist Execution

Also debuting at CES 2026, the R|Evolution Soundbar signals SVS’s first real swing at the soundbar category—and it’s very clearly not chasing the thin-TV-speaker crowd. This is a complete soundbar system engineered to deliver legitimate home theater performance while keeping the setup lifestyle-friendly and scalable. At its core is a dedicated 3-way acoustic design for Left, Center, and Right channels, using nine total drivers powered by 180 watts of onboard amplification, with the stated goal of delivering high output, clear dialogue, and convincing cinematic dynamics.

The system supports Dolby Atmos decoding, handling everything from stereo content through immersive Atmos mixes. Configuration options include 3.1, 5.1, or 5.2 layouts, allowing the system to scale depending on room size and user ambition. Dolby Atmos virtualization is included for users who don’t add physical surround or height speakers, while Dolby Dialogue Enhancer is available to improve speech intelligibility. An onboard Auto EQ room correction system is designed to optimize performance based on the listening environment.

Where SVS clearly separates itself from most soundbar-first competitors is bass. The R|Evolution Soundbar system includes an SVS R|Evolution Wireless Subwoofer as standard, not as an afterthought. Built around a 12-inch high-excursion driver and powered by a 600-watt continuous Class-D MOSFET amplifier, the subwoofer ships pre-paired for plug-and-play setup. SVS is also offering an optional dual-subwoofer configuration for users looking to improve room response consistency and overall output—still a rarity in this category.

Connectivity is comprehensive and modern, with Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth, supporting high-resolution music streaming up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Physical connections include HDMI 2.1 with ARC/eARC, along with app-based system control and an included IR remote for traditional operation.

For those who want to go beyond virtualization, SVS is offering an optional upgrade path in the form of the R|Evolution Soundbar Max, which adds a pair of R|Evolution Wireless Surround Speakers. These use a 2-way design with bi-amped 50-watt amplification per speaker and arrive pre-paired for straightforward setup. A proprietary multiband wireless connection is used to maintain stable performance even in congested RF environments.

Pricing for the SVS R|Evolution Soundbar has not yet been announced, and SVS is targeting a late Q2 2026 ship date. What’s clear is intent. CES 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for soundbars, with new models expected from all of the major players—including a new outdoor-focused entrant from our friends down in Hope, Arkansas (you’ll have to wait another 24 hours for that one). Still, if anyone is positioned to deliver an affordable high-end soundbar with real full-range authority, serious low-frequency impact, and wireless surrounds that don’t feel like an afterthought, it’s SVS.

SVS 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos Demo Cabin: A No-Compromise Home Theater System at CES 2026

As part of its CES 2026 showcase, SVS is presenting a dedicated 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos home theater demo cabin designed to demonstrate what a fully realized, multi-channel system can deliver when loudspeakers, subwoofers, and immersive processing are treated as a single ecosystem. The system combines Ultra Evolution loudspeakers with 3000 R|Evolution Series subwoofers and is used to demonstrate both cinematic film content and immersive Dolby Atmos music for industry attendees at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Rather than relying on soundbar virtualization or scaled-down demos, SVS is using the cabin to highlight core performance traits the brand is known for: high output without strain, clear dialogue and spatial precision, and low-frequency performance capable of anchoring large-scale soundtracks. The goal of the demo is straightforward—show how full-range speakers and reference-grade bass work together in a properly configured Atmos system, especially in content that demands dynamic range, transient speed, and consistent room pressurization.

SVS 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos System Configuration

  • Front Left / Right: 2 × SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle Speakers
  • Center: SVS Ultra Evolution Center Speaker
  • Surrounds: 2 × SVS Ultra Evolution Bookshelf Speakers
  • Dolby Atmos / Height Channels: 4 × SVS Ultra Evolution Elevation Speakers
  • Subwoofers: 2 × SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofers

For the visual component of the demo, SVS is partnering with AWALL to showcase a 108-inch CoB MicroLED display. The modular screen uses AWALL’s High Grey microLED technology with up to 18-bit processing, designed to maintain precise grayscale tracking and color accuracy. AWALL specifies a 15,000:1 native contrast ratio with an effectively infinite dynamic contrast ratio, allowing fine detail to remain visible in dark scenes—an important consideration in a controlled home theater environment.

AWALL MicroLED Display Highlights

  • Chip-on-Board (CoB) microLED technology with pixel pitches down to 0.7 mm
  • Modular panel design allowing seamless scaling to different room sizes
  • High brightness capability with deep contrast and consistent color reproduction
  • Multi-View support for displaying multiple sources simultaneously
  • Custom sizing options beyond standard aspect ratios for media rooms or dedicated theaters

Together, the SVS 5.2.4 Atmos audio system and AWALL MicroLED display form a tightly integrated demo intended to show what modern home theater can look and sound like when performance—not compromise—drives the design.

The Bottom Line

SVS isn’t dabbling at CES 2026—it’s making a clear statement about where attainable high-performance home theater is headed. From the new 3000 R|Evolution Series subwoofers to its first full-scale R|Evolution Soundbar system and a no-compromise 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos demo, the focus is squarely on real output, real bass, and real immersion—without drifting into fantasy pricing. The eCoustics team is onsite this week, and we’ll be updating this story with first impressions, photos, and video coverage, both here and across our social channels, as soon as we’ve had hands-on time.

I tried the new SB3000. It was a muddy sounding base lacking clarity. I had a 20 year old sub that died. It was much clearer and crisp base notes. I returned the SVS product and went to a comparatively priced Martin Logan Abyss. I then got the clarity back that I had.

This is a new version of the SB3000 redesigned from the ground up with new voice coil, amps and processor. It begins shipping later this month. Sounded pretty great at the show.
