D-BOX and Tweeter Expand Home Theater Motion Simulation Chairs to 30 More Locations

Longueuil, Quebec & Canton, Mass. (August 4, 2005) — D-BOX Technologies, Inc. (TSXV: DBO.A) and Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWTR) today announce a strategic expansion in their partnership.
Following the successful launch of the new Quest by D-BOX motion simulators in its Las Vegas concept store, Tweeter Home Entertainment Group is moving forward by adding this innovative product to thirty additional retail locations.

“We have found that the D-BOX motion simulation chairs have provided an excellent demo in our Las Vegas prototype store. Our customers have been consistently blown away,” says Dave Malin, Vice President General Merchandise Manager for Tweeter. “The D-BOX test in Las Vegas exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to seeing customer reactions in other parts of the country, beginning with this initial rollout to 30 of our stores.”

According to Michel Jacques, president of D-BOX Technologies, Inc., “Motion simulation has a growing interest in the entertainment market, as proven by the rapid growth of our distribution network.”

Tweeter’s 30-store D-BOX expansion includes 16 Florida stores in the company’s Sound Advice region, 1 store in the company’s Arizona based Showcase Home Entertainment market, 3 hifi buys stores based in Georgia and 10 select Tweeter stores located in Texas, North Carolina, Illinois, Massachusetts, California and New Jersey.
