Artisons RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer Selected as a RESI Awards 2007 Finalist

Incline Village, NV, August 13, 2007 — Artison today announced that its RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer has been selected as a RESI Awards 2007 finalist in the In-Wall/In-Ceiling speaker category. Judged by a panel of independent judges and coordinated by the editors of Residential Systems magazine, the RESI Awards recognize the most innovative products in the custom installation industry.

Winners will be announced during the RESI Awards ceremony at a reception during CEDIA EXPO in Denver, Colorado, September 5, 2007, in Room 206 of the Colorado Convention Center.

“We are honored to be recognized by the professionals of Residential Systems,” said Cary Christie, President & Chief Executive Officer of Artison. “As a breakout product, the RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer delivers the highest level of performance, while meeting the needs of today’s budget-conscious, lifestyle-oriented customer.”

The RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer is a compact and more affordable version of Artison’s award-winning RCC 600. The Reactance-Canceling Configuration technology allows the RCC 300 to provide tremendous, vibration-free, detailed bass from an enclosure that disappears in a customer’s environment. In addition, the RCC 300 space requirements are small, allowing it to be mounted directly into a 2 x 4 stud wall. Featuring a bass performance equivalent of a 10-inch floor-standing subwoofer, the RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer is the perfect solution for smaller rooms or installations requiring multiple subwoofers within a larger space.

The subwoofer’s accompanying amplifier is a slim 1.5 RU, which is easily hidden; but should it be displayed, its sleek black cabinet and blue backlighting are very attractive. Featuring state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing software, it allows for a customized set up, regardless of placement within a room. Sound controls, like power, gain, movie mode, and music mode, are front panel accessible, giving consumers the ultimate in flexibility and performance. On the back are advanced features, such as Automatic Room Equalization and Variable Low Pass slopes ensure sonic perfection, regardless of placement.

Set to ship in August the RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer retails for $1200.00, including amplifier.
