T-Mobile Announces New Unlimited Smartphone Plans

T-Mobile USA, Inc. just announced a new unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited data plan for $79.99 per line, or $139.99 for a family share plan (two lines). 4G speeds are included (where available) but are capped at 2GB/month. So the good news is no overage charges for 4G data, but the bad news is slower speeds for heavy data users that exceed their limit. Higher priced plans are also available for more data download capability.

No Annual Contract Plans
T-Mobile also just launched its most competitive no annual contract plans called Monthly4G. Starting at just $50 per month, Monthly4G gives you unlimited talk, text and Web on T-Mobile’s Nationwide 4G Network with no annual contract, no credit check and no deposit. The new Monthly4G plans include:

  • $50/month for Unlimited Talk, Text and Web (first 100MBs at up to 4G speeds)
  • $70/month for Unlimited Talk, Text and High-Speed Internet

Additional Options

  • Unlimited International Talk & Text is available for an additional $10 per month per line, providing unlimited calling to landlines in over 50 countries and unlimited texting to mobile phones in over 200 countries.
  • BlackBerry Internet services is available for an additional $10 per month per line to access to BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry App World and more.

To use a prepaid plan you’ll need to purchase a prepaid-ready phone, which is nothing more than an unlocked GSM cell phone.

All plans are available for new or existing customers.
