Integra DTR-80.2 THX Ultra2 Plus A/V Receiver


Integra has introduced the DTR-80.2, a high-end 9.2-channel, THX Ultra2 Plus certified network audio-video receiver. The 145-watt per-channel DTR-80.2 uses an advanced, audiophile grade power supply with a massive, high-current, low-noise, toroidal power transformer that is dedicated exclusively to audio amplification. The receiver also has two other separate transformers and power supplies, one dedicated to the audio circuitry and the other to the video circuits.

The Integra DTR-80.2 has eight 3D-Ready HDMI 1.4a inputs and two outputs. It supports a wide range of AV sources and delivering those signals to state of the art video displays, including 3D systems. HDMI 1.4a also supports the ultimate in lossless digital audio via Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, plus Audio Return Channel and HDMI Thru.

The 9.2-channel receiver is well equipped to take advantage of the latest audio processing from Audyssey, Dolby, and DTS. It is among Integra's first products to be equipped with the new top-of-the-line Audyssey MultEQ XT32 advanced room equalizer and included SUB EQ HT, which properly combines the sound of two subwoofers in a room. The DTR-80.2 also support the added height dimension of Dolby Pro Logic IIz and height or width expansion provided by Audyssey DSX, with the 9.2-channel systems capable of combining height channels plus rear surround. For those who sometimes play their systems low volume levels, it includes Dolby Volume and Audyssey Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ.

The Integra DTR-80.2 A/V receiver employs the highly regarded HQV Reon-VX processing engine to provide video upscaling of all analog and digital sources to 1080p and provides full ISFccc Certified Calibration Controls to support individual color calibration for all video inputs.

The receiver include extensive audio networking and Internet radio capabilities using built-in Ethernet and USB interfaces. These connections are also used for firmware updates, and the USB interface ensures these models are 'Made for iPod/iPhone.' It is certified for Windows 7 and DLNA Version 1.5. Internet Radio connectivity is configured for the popular commercial portals, Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius Internet Radio, Napster, Mediafly, Slacker, and vTuner.

The DTR-80.2 A/V receiver also includes extensive custom integration features, with bi-directional Ethernet and RS232 interfaces, powered Zone 2/3/4, Zone 2/3 preouts, Zone 2 and 3 subwoofer outputs, three programmable triggers, two IR inputs and one output, and lockable dealer settings. The receiver is Sirius Satellite and HD Radio Ready, and has 40 AM/FM/Sirius radio presets.

Price and Availability
The Integra DTR-80.2 A/V receiver will be available in October 2010 for $2,800.
