XtremeMac announced the Soma Stand, a “fold n' go” portable speaker dock for iPod, iPhone or iPad. The dual ported speaker legs expand for stability and provide a stereo audio experience in 3 easy steps. The Company says the Soma Stand features room-filling stereo audio for up to six hours of playtime while on the go. Runs on AC adapter or batteries.
With the AC adapter plugged in, the Soma Stand should provide charging of the Apple device whether or not you're listening to music. While six hours of battery power sounds reasonable, it could become a hassle and rather expensive to keep replacing batteries.
