ZON Audio to be featured with Klipsch Speakers in NextGen Home at Consumer Electronics Show and International Builders Show

(Las Vegas, NV — January 5, 2006) — Oxmoor Corporation today announced that its award-winning ZON Audio products are featured in the NextGen “Digital Lifestyles” Home exhibits at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 5-8, and at the International Builders Show in Orlando, January 11-14.
The NextGen homes are fully-constructed and functional homes, built onsite at the Las Vegas and Orlando convention centers. The homes are a partner effort to demonstrate the best in today’s technology and will allow visitors to see for themselves how today’s digital technology can improve their way of life.
In the NextGen house, ZON is paired with a home control system featuring a Lifeware user interface that makes whole house audio a truly integral element of the integrated home entertainment system. ZON’s unique architecture allows audio sources to be located throughout the home and accessible from any other location in the home with a ZON controller/amplifier or Lifeware touchscreen interface. All of this control and power is delivered by a single CAT-5 or CAT-6 cable to each listening zone and audio source location.
ZON and Klipsch join four platform partners; Lifeware, Microsoft, Intel, and Hewlett-Packard (HP) in an exhibit that will be broken into 12 vignettes that seamlessly tell a unified story. Oxmoor is providing a ZON fully integrated ZON Whole House Digital Audio System that is seamlessly matched with a selection of Klipsch Audio Technologies architectural speakers.
The “Digital Lifestyles” Demonstration Home is part of the NextGen Home Experience which showcases the evolution of the American home — from electronics to the latest in building systems — through a series of demonstration homes. “We’re excited to be part of NextGen Digital Lifestyles Home,” said Oxmoor’s Chairman and CEO Lynn McCroskey. “There are many great products that will be part of the experience visitors to the home will enjoy, and we’re proud that ZON Audio was chosen to partner with great names like Microsoft, HP, Lifeware, Intel and Exceptional Innovation.”
For visitors to the NextGen home, all products on display are currently available or will be on the market by the end of the first quarter. Also, for the first time ever, anyone interested can have an exact duplicate of the NextGen home built on their property. The homes would come complete with every product, like ZON Audio, that is featured in the exhibit home, installed and ready to use at the time they would take occupancy.
