Trio Debuts From Sennheiser

Discover new worlds of sound with the HD 205, HD 415 and HD 435: professional sound, cool design, cool price

Old Lyme, Connecticut, January 6, 2006–Music has long since become more than just listening — music is now an essential part of life. Sennheiser Electronic Corporation (SEC), the leading provider of headphones and microphones for home and pro audio users, has unveiled a trio of new headphone models that allow all music lovers to take advantage of optimum sound, speech and music into every part of their life. The three newcomers– the closed-back, DJ-styled HD 205 and the HD 415 and HD 435 Open-Aire headphones–all feature the clear, effortless sound and impressive bass accuracy that has made the Sennheiser name all but synonymous with high-fidelity headphones.

The Sennheiser HD 205 is a sealed design with performance and features enhanced for DJ applications and other pro-type users. Their high output power, luxuriously rich bass, excellent passive attenuation and perfect fit guarantee precision sound in even the loudest environments. Monitoring the beat is made much easier by the rotatable ear cup. Weighing in at only 7.3 ounces, the sturdy design is more than a match for the toughest event. The HD 205 headphones come with a 3.5 mm jack plug, a gold-plated _” screw-on jack adapter and a single-sided cable. A protective pouch for transport and storage is also included.

Sennheiser’s open-back models HD 415 and HD 435 not only offer excellent sound but also feature an eye-catching design.

Their improved wearing comfort and lightweight construction (just 5.6 oz.) ensures that they remain comfortable even after the longest listening sessions. Their sturdy design makes them the perfect companion for a mobile lifestyle. The HD 415 and 435 utilize an ultra-fast, low-mass Sennheiser dynamic driver that delivers transparent sound, with defined and superbly extended smooth bass response. While both models offer a sonic performance that will surprise even experienced audio fanatics, at their modest prices, a touch of additional refinement is achieved through their use of select drivers and a single-sided OFC (oxygen-free copper) connecting cable.

The HD 415 is fitted with a handy cord winder to allow the cable length to be individually adapted, as well as a 3.5 mm jack plug and a gold-plated _” screw-on jack adapter. The model HD 435 is equipped with a volume control, a detachable single-sided cable and a convenient protective pouch.

Sennheiser’s HD 205, HD 415 and HD 435 models will ship in January 2006.
Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Pricing:
HD205: $59.95
HD415: $59.95
HD435: $69.95
