Tele2 Sweden selects Anevia and Digital Access for DVB-T & Regional Channel Contribution

Paris,- June 7th, 2007 —

Anevia, French designer of the Flamingo DVB-to-IP Gateways and the Toucan VOD/nPVR servers and Digital Access, the Swedish-based broadband networks equipment provider, today announced that they have been selected by Swedish operator Tele2.

Each of the 20 Flamingos 220T will ingest national DVB-T channels as well as two regional channels into Tele2’s IP network.

The Anevia Flamingo is the only single box (1RU) in the market able to take up to 60 TV channels (DVB-S/T or C, encrypted or Free-to-air) and retransmit them over IP.

“This application is a new brick into Tele2’s service network and this strengthens our already fruitful business relationship”, said Bo Nykvist, Broadband Services Manager at Digital Access.

“We are delighted to partner with Digital Access and be selected by a company such as Tele2. This shows that our products are well positioned to address operators IPTV needs”, said Lionel Thevenard, Regional Sales Manager for Scandinavia at Anevia.
