TBK RECEIVES PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATION FOR HD RADIO DECODER MODULE

Columbia, MD and Warren, NJ – (March 31, 2004) – iBiquity Digital Corporation, the sole developer of HD Radio technology, and TBK Electronics Corp, a leading manufacturer of Radio Frequency (RF) modules, today announced HD Radio certification of the TDI 2001-A1 decoding module utilizing the Texas Instruments DRI 200 chip set. This certification will enable licensed consumer electronics manufacturers to speed time-to-market of HD Radio products while helping reduce engineering costs.

“At TBK, our dream is to create a multimedia world inside every car where audio and communication are integrated into one system. We believe that HD Radio technology represents a key piece in the realization of this goal, making today’s certification announcement of our TDI 2001-A1 – the world’s smallest IDM decoding module – an especially significant achievement,” said Samuel Im, Executive Manager, TBK Electronics Corp. “We also hope to soon announce the release of our new all-in-one solution that integrates the RF tuner, analog baseband demodulator and the HD Radio decoding function.”

“Component and module manufacturers such as TBK are essential partners in the successful rollout of HD Radio technology, making the certification of the TDI 2001-A1 tuner an important milestone in the commercialization of HD Radio,” said Jeffrey Jury, chief operating officer, iBiquity Digital Corporation. “We congratulate TBK on their accomplishment and look forward to seeing these modules integrated into a wide range of HD Radio consumer products.”
