Savant Appoints The Jarmac Group for New England and upstate New York

Osterville, MA. December 3rd, 2008–Savant Systems LLC, having led the convergence of an open architecture platform to integrate automation and control, A/V switching, and general purpose computers, has announced the appointment of The Jarmac Group as independent sales representatives for New England and upstate New York.

The Jarmac Group was founded over twenty one years ago and covers the northeast region with a team of outside salespeople backed by inside sales and tech support departments, all housed in a state of the art 35,000 square foot complex located just south of Boston. Jarmac headquarters also features an active showroom and a large training facility along with administrative offices. “Having served as the AMX representatives for many years, it became clear to us that Savant’s ROSIE control platform represents the future of home automation, whereas most current control technology will soon become outdated,” stated Jarmac president Peter Dyroff. “As an organization, Jarmac always represents products based upon what is best for our customers,” Dyroff concluded.

“Savant has high expectations for the northeast region and we felt that our goals would be most attainable via the support of an organization that boasts two-plus decades of relationships and service in the territory,” stated Savant sales VP Ben Jamison. “We anticipate nothing but success with Peter and his team at Jarmac.”

The Jarmac Group also represents Bryston, JL Audio, ReQuest, and other prominent manufacturers in the CEDIA marketplace.

About Savant: Savant was founded by a core group of technology pioneers with hundreds of years of combined real-world experience in peripheral applications such as programmable systems, digital signal processing, telephony, switching systems, video processing, and home electronics integration. The Savant Team is committed to redefining the Home Control Systems industry with a visionary solution to home automation that emphasizes reliability and a maintenance-friendly open platform. The Savant product suite is distinguished by an unparalleled blend of cutting-edge technology and advanced next-generation graphics. www.savantav.com
