Samsung Reveals 2026 Micro RGB LED TV Pricing and Availability as It Pushes Premium TV Tech Into the Spotlight

After rolling out its 2026 4K Mini LED, Neo QLED, OLED, and Frame TV lineups, Samsung is now going all-in on premium display tech with the debut of its first full 4K Micro RGB LED TV range anchored by eight models across three series and signaling a more aggressive push to bring next-generation panel technology into the mainstream.

The 2026 Micro RGB LED lineup spans eight models across three series, starting with the carryover MR95F anchored by a massive 115-inch screen, followed by the R95H Series in 85-, 75-, and 65-inch sizes, and the more accessible R85H Series offering 85-, 75-, 65-, and 55-inch options.

Pro tip: Samsung is expected to slot in a 100-inch model later in 2026, likely within the R85H or R95H range, to plug the gap between the current size tiers and hit that increasingly popular large-screen sweet spot.

What Is Samsung Micro RGB LED TV Technology?

Samsung’s Micro RGB technology is built around sub-100-micron red, green, and blue LEDs that emit light independently, rather than relying on a white backlight with color filters. This approach enables more precise color reproduction at the pixel level and eliminates the inefficiencies associated with traditional backlighting systems.

Also, instead of more traditional hardware-based Full Array Local Dimming, Samsung’s Ultimate Micro Dimming and Dimming Pro use software-based algorithms to achieve precise light control. AI Engine Pro

To enable more precise, frame-by-frame image refinement, Samsung’s Micro RGB AI Engine Pro is driven by a next-generation AI chipset. The platform also integrates Micro RGB Color Booster Pro alongside either Micro RGB HDR Pro (R95H Series) or Micro RGB HDR+ (R85H Series and MR95F), working in concert to improve color depth, brightness control, and tonal balance for images that look more vivid without sacrificing overall naturalism.

Micro RGB Precision Color 100 (R95H series)

Samsung’s Micro RGB Precision Color 100 (R95H Series) features a refined Micro RGB light source with enhanced RGB color dimming precision, enabling more accurate color reproduction across a wide range of content. Certified by VDE, Micro RGB Precision Color 100 supports 100% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut, underscoring Samsung’s focus on color accuracy at the premium end of its TV lineup.

Glare Free (R95H and MR95F)

This feature is designed to reduce on-screen reflections without compromising image quality, helping preserve contrast and color accuracy. It also improves real-world viewing conditions for users who don’t have full control over ambient lighting.

Vision AI Companion

Vision AI Companion is Samsung’s platform that combines large language model (LLM)–powered intelligence with natural, conversational interaction through Bixby. The system supports conversational search and interactive Q&A, delivers proactive content recommendations, and provides access to AI-driven features and apps, including Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, and Perplexity.

Gaming

Gaming support is extensive, with Samsung’s Gaming Hub, AI Auto Game Mode, Cloud Gaming, and Motion Xceleration included on all Samsung 2026 RGB Micro LED TVs. The R95H series supports a 165Hz native refresh rate, the R85H series supports a native 144Hz refresh rate, and the MR95F supports a 120Hz native refresh rate with the ability to go up to 144Hz.

Smart TV 

Just as with all Samsung smart TVs, the Micro RGB models incorporate the Tizen OS for access to all major streaming services, as well as include Samsung’s TV Plus free Ad-supported TV service with access to hundreds of additional subscription-free channels and services. 

Audio Support

All new Micro RGB models support Dolby Atmos for multidimensional audio, Adaptive Sound Pro for optimizing clarity based on both room acoustics and content type, and Q-Symphony, which integrates the TV’s speakers with compatible Samsung audio products (soundbars and wireless speakers) to create a larger, more immersive soundstage. As an added bonus, all 2026 Samsung TVs include Eclipsa Audio, offering another immersive listening option in addition to Dolby Atmos.

Wireless One Connect Box Ready (R95H)

Samsung Micro RGB LED TVs provide the connections you would expect (refer to our comparison chart below), but one connection feature available for the R95H series TVs as an optional purchase is a Wireless One Connect Box. This allows you to bypass the connections located on the TV and provides access to them using the wireless connect box instead, if desired. The box wirelessly transmits up to 4K at 144Hz from as far as 10 meters (30 feet), which should be enough for most living rooms unless you’re trying to hide it in another zip code.
