TCL Q10M RGB MiniLED Extra Large TVs Launch in China

TCL’s first RGB MiniLED TV line will debut in China in 85-inch, 98-inch and 115-inch screen sizes. No word on U.S. availability.

TCL Q10M TV Front and Back Angle

The hottest buzzwords in TV tech right now are RGB MiniLED and MicroRGB LED, and the big players are finally starting to put serious money behind them. Hisense and Samsung have already staked their claim with monster-sized displays: Hisense’s 116-inch set lists for $29,999 (Amazon knocks it down to $24,999), while the 100-inch models swing between $12,999 and $19,999 at Best Buy. Samsung’s 115-inch version? Also $29,999 at Best Buy. Meanwhile, Sony has been working in the shadows and is expected to roll out its first RGB MiniLED models in 2026, though no one’s seen firm pricing or sizes yet. And LG? Still sitting on the sidelines like it didn’t get the memo.

TCL Q10M RGB MiniLED TV: Specs, Features, and What We Know So Far

Now TCL has decided to jump into the RGB MiniLED game with its first model, the Q10M, rolling out first in China. Full specifications aren’t on the table yet, but here’s what’s confirmed so far.

Keeping pace with Hisense, Samsung, and the looming Sony entry, the TCL Q10M will ship in three sizes, topping out at 115 inches. TCL is touting industry-leading color accuracy and up to 9,000 nits of XDR (Extreme Dynamic Range) brightness. Onboard features include a Bang & Olufsen audio systemWi-Fi 6, and four HDMI ports. The package is rounded out with a backlit remote control featuring custom shortcut keys.

TCL claims the Q10M delivers industry-leading color accuracy, covering 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut — a spec that puts it on par with Samsung’s Micro RGB TV technology.

The lineup includes 85-inch, 98-inch, and 115-inch models, offering 8,736, 11,520, and 16,848 RGB local dimming zones, respectively. Each set uses a TCL WHVA Pro panel built by CSOT, with the 115-inch version pushing a maximum XDR brightness of 9,000 nits.

The Q10M runs TCL’s proprietary operating system for the Chinese market, powered by a MediaTek 9655+ processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Design-wise, the set sports an ultra-thin profile built for wall mounting, with hidden cable management included to keep the installation clean.

The Bottom Line

TCL isn’t first to RGB MiniLED, but the Q10M makes it clear they want a seat at the head of the table. The specs promise expanded color gamut, blistering brightness, and stronger HDR, but this is still LCD at its core — meaning haloing, uniformity issues, limited black levels, and narrower viewing angles remain potential weak spots compared with OLED. TCL’s decision to stick with giant screen sizes also mirrors the competition, leaving a gap for more practical and affordable models that could make the technology mainstream.

And if the Q10M does reach the U.S., expect a different model name and possibly tweaked features. CES 2026 should tell us how serious TCL is about making RGB MiniLED more than just another big-screen bragging right.

Price & Availability

TCL announced the availability of the Q10M Ultra RGB Mini LED 4K TV in China after being shown at the  2025 TCL Mini LED TV Fall New Product Launch Conference.

In China, the TCL Q10M Ultra RGB Mini LED TV 85-inch model retails for CNY 27,999 (~$3,930). The 98-inch and 115-inch models will retail for CNY 49,999 (~$7,018) and CNY 99,999 (~$14,036), respectively. Availability and final pricing for the U.S. market are still pending.
