The RP-1 Remote Control Processor allows installers to easily build an advanced control system using RTI`s family of universal remotes and accessory devices. Unlike simple IR-to-RF converters, the RP-1 opens the option of storing all of a system`s complex commands within a central controller at the equipment rack, in addition to storing them in the remote control or both at once. The RP-1 guarantees reliable control over an A/V system because it delivers stored codes and complete macro strings to the system’s components, requiring the remote to send only a single trigger signal to its built-in RF receiver. The RP-1 also features a built-in power sensing module and a connecting block for IR emitters and blasters.
