British manufacturer Roth Audio introduced two tabletop DAB/FM radios each equipped with wireless Bluetooth technology. The Roth DBT-001 stands vertical with a single mono speaker and the DBT-003 (top) has a stereo pair.
The DBT-001 DAB/FM radio with Bluetooth receiver is a curvaceous mono radio design, and is available in beautifully constructed high-gloss black, high-gloss white, and walnut finishes. A rear port enables greater bass response, and the integrated full range speaker delivers sound that belies the DBT-001’s compact dimensions. In addition to the wireless Bluetooth option – ideal for connecting desktops, tablets, and smart phones – the new Roth radio also counts a stereo earphone out and a 3.5mm aux input. Users can swiftly access all the DBT-001’s functions via its front panel’s two scroll wheels. Ideal for any room in the home, the neat, little radio also offers an adjustable LCD screen, a twin alarm setting, and even a USB output for charging mobile devices.
The DBT-003 delivers the same extensive array of connectivity options as its DBT-001 sibling, and also maintains the rear-ported curved cabinet design – however, its integrated stereo speaker system enables it to deliver even greater sound. Consequently the DBT-003 offers users an extremely competitively priced route into high-fidelity sound, all wrapped up in a beautiful chassis, and complete with the added convenience of wireless Bluetooth technology.
