Record Internet Radio, Fill Your MP3 Player for Free with Audio Xtract

ST. LOUIS — July 12, 2004 — Have you used your cassette recorder to record a favorite song off of the radio? Or a VCR to record a show you regularly watch? Now you can do the same thing with streaming Internet radio and your home computer!
Jambalaya Brands, a new St. Louis-based software marketing firm, introduces the Audio Xtract series — easy-to-use software that turns your PC into an Internet radio recorder!
“These days, computer geeks rule the online world. Jambalaya is committed to change that — bringing new technologies to the millions of non-geeks out there,” said Gene Schenberg, Vice President Business and Customer Development and a 20-year industry veteran. “Jambalaya Brands will bring one-click convenience to new technologies — making them simple and accessible to everyone, even if you are not a computer wiz.”
Audio Xtract allows you to choose what genre of music you would like to record. You can then search the Internet for radio stations and set Audio Xtract to record. Walk away and return later to find dozens, even hundreds of your favorite songs neatly stored on your computer as MP3 files, even listed by song title and artist. And with no per-song fees, you can fill your MP3 player for free!
Audio Xtract comes in two versions:
Audio Xtract ($49.99)
– Record Internet radio songs or talk shows as MP3 files
– Play on your computer with Audio Player
– Burn a compilation CD to play in your car or CD player
– Duplicate file remover automatically removes duplicate songs
– Schedule Audio Xtract to record a favorite radio station at a certain time of the day
– Record up to 8 Internet radio stations at one time
Audio Xtract Pro ($69.99)
– All of the above, plus:
– Sound Edit Pro will eliminate/reduce overlap at the beginning and end of songs
– Transfer songs from your CD collection to Audio Xtract with Audio Ripper
– Convert freely to various file formats (MP3, WAV, WMA)
– Set the size of the receiving file to limit the number of songs you record
– Search your file for a certain artist or song

Audio Xtract will soon be available in stores, and is available immediately online at www.audioxtract.com.
