RBH Sound Introduces the A-414 In-Wall Center Channel Speaker

New versatile speaker hits an unmatched price point for home theater enthusiasts.

Las Vegas, NV — CES 2006 — At CES 2006 RBH Sound will proudly introduce the A-414 in-wall center channel speaker. The company’s newest addition to their in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeaker line-up, the A-414 is a best-value contender; delivering superior performance and in-wall convenience at a low price point.

A spacious and designated media room is ideal; however, many entry-level listening rooms are also called upon to double as a den, family room, or for entertaining guests. A speaker system which is versatile in performance and flexible in installation is the key to meeting varying floor spaces, lifestyles, and budget constraints. RBH’s A-414 in-wall offers an affordable, off-the-floor, center channel/LCR solution capable of satisfying the demands of music and movie lovers, alike.

Featuring a 1-inch fabric dome tweeter and two 4-inch polypropylene woofers, the A-414 is designed to reproduce all the subtleties of movies and music while rendering dialogue with crystal clear accuracy. RBH elected to use a woofer-tweeter-woofer configuration, which increases efficiency and power handling up to 130 watts, creates a more controlled dispersion pattern, and provides exceptional clarity. The swivel tweeter can be adjusted to optimize sound, offering multiple listening and installation options. The A-414 also includes tweeter protection, preventing unnecessary damage that may be caused by over-zealous enthusiasts.

“We designed the A-414 as an affordable and convenient in-wall center channel for the home theater enthusiast on a budget” states Daren Egan, RBH marketing and sales manager. “I believe we’ve accomplished just that. The A-414 hits an optimal price point without sacrificing RBH sound quality.”

In addition to its discrete and convenient in-wall positioning, the A-414 has a white, paint-able grille and frame to that allow the speaker to blend seamlessly with any room or wall decor. Measuring a mere 7 1/4″W x 15 1/2″H x 3 1/2″D, the A-414 is the perfect size to complement a flat panel display.

The MSRP of the A-414 is $139/each and they are expected to ship mid-January, 2006.
