ParkerVision Wireless Products Available to Schools, Teachers & Administrators Through Academic Distributing, Inc.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Nov. 29, 2004–ParkerVision, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: PRKR) announced that Academic Distributing, Inc., a leading education distributor focused on providing computing needs to the academic community, would begin selling the ParkerVision SignalMAX(TM) brand of wireless networking products. ParkerVision’s WiFi network solutions will easily and cost-effectively cover multiple classrooms without the need or cost of repeaters, boosters, or special high-gain antennas.
SignalMAX routers will allow students, teachers, and administrators with 802.11b/g wireless enabled notebooks, tablet PC’s and PDA’s to connect from greater distances than ANY competing product currently available in the consumer market. Only SignalMAX products offer ParkerVision’s patented D2D(TM) wireless technology, which replaces old analog RF processes with ultra-efficient digital circuits.
