ParkerVision Wireless Products Available to Schools, Teachers & Administrators Through Academic Distributing, Inc.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Nov. 29, 2004–ParkerVision, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: PRKR) announced that Academic Distributing, Inc., a leading education distributor focused on providing computing needs to the academic community, would begin selling the ParkerVision SignalMAX(TM) brand of wireless networking products. ParkerVision’s WiFi network solutions will easily and cost-effectively cover multiple classrooms without the need or cost of repeaters, boosters, or special high-gain antennas.

SignalMAX routers will allow students, teachers, and administrators with 802.11b/g wireless enabled notebooks, tablet PC’s and PDA’s to connect from greater distances than ANY competing product currently available in the consumer market. Only SignalMAX products offer ParkerVision’s patented D2D(TM) wireless technology, which replaces old analog RF processes with ultra-efficient digital circuits.

“Academic Distributing is another strong addition to our growing list of high-quality resellers and distribution partners. We are thrilled to be able to provide our best of breed products in wireless technology to the academic world,” said Jeffrey L. Parker, Chairman and CEO. “Our SignalMAX product line, based on our unique, patented digital circuitry, offers 10 times the coverage of typical “g” products.”

“ParkerVision’s SignalMAX products provide a powerful solution for challenging school environments,”said Brenda Massimo, Assistant Director of Vendor Relations at Academic Distributing, Inc. “It is an ideal solution for older schools without a wired infrastructure and will help penetrate the heavy materials used in school construction.”
