Panasonic just announced the Lumix DMC-XS1 a low cost, ultra slim (14mm thick) digital camera providing 16.1 megapixels, 5x Optical Zoom, 8x Intelligent Zoom, and 1280×720 HD video recording capability. At just a little more than a half inch thick, the XS1’s body is designed to fit perfectly into your pocket, so you can have amazing camera performance on hand whenever and wherever you need it, providing excellent picture quality results. Hoping to save a few bucks and forgo a few features, then consider the similarly sized DMC-FH10 or DMC-F5 pocket cameras explained at the bottom.
